  • I'm 5'3" and when I started here I was barely fitting into a 14, but refused to go to a 16 (It's taken me this long just to admit that! haha) and yesterday I went out and bought a size 10! Albiet they are from Old Navy, which fits large, but makes me feel awesome about it haha. Ideally I'd looove to be a 6, since I don't…
  • Today I realized I have to buy new work pants because mine from the winter are all too big!
  • Just to be an out-cast... Suunto m2! haha I bought one last week and I love it.

  • I just bought a Suunto M2 Heart rate monitor like... last week? I love it! Turns out I've been over-estimating my calories burned for months now, no wonder my weight loss slowed so much! It does have a chest strap, but I honestly don't even notice it. I just tuck it up under my bra and away I go. It was expensive though, I…
  • Oh and I forgot my stats! haha 09/01 - 175.2 09/08 - 09/15 - 09/22 - 09/29 -
  • I'm in! I need to lose more than just 5! haha
  • I don't really *need* cheat days, because if I'm reallllly craving something, I find a way to make it fit into my day. That way I don't feel like I'm on a "diet" but just like I'm being more conscious of what I eat, so I'm not always depriving myself of sweet, sweet chocolate. That being said, I allow myself 1 day a month…
  • Bump! I've been yo-yo'ing 2-4lbs for 2 MONTHS. Driving me crazy, I need out!
  • I did it, and it was great! I posted my pictures in another thread but I'm at work right now and can't get to them haha. I didn't have amazing results but I didn't eat really well, but I felt amazing! I lost only 2lbs, but I lost inches like crazy. The best part was the 2" off of EACH thigh! It's hard and I wanted to give…
  • I wake up around 5:45 every morning and I couldn't possibly eat breakfast that early becuase I'll be starving by lunch! I eat at my desk at work around 8:30 and have a small snack at 10:15, and that holds me over until lunch. I find it works really well for me so far
  • I was going to say I'm from Guelph! But Grimsby in the UK must be pretty far from Grimsby in Ontario Canada haha.
  • I went the naughty way for my sweet tooth because I'm a sucker for candy, but I tend to eat too much if it's available. So I was at Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday and bought a big bag of halloween sized Skittles and Starburst. Each starburst pack is only 2 candies, so it's 40 calories, and each Skittles pack is only 60. If…
  • Currently I have 4. The Tree of Gondor from Lord of the Rings on my lower back (tramp-stamp spot but too nerdy to be considered a tramp stamp! haha), a whole bunch of starts down my right shoulder blade, a music note behind my right ear and a quote, "To live will be an awfully big adventure" on my inner upper left arm. I…
  • Great attitude! It's all about the mindset and being dedicated to the change! GOOD LUCK!
  • I'm 25, 5'3" 176lbs, aiming to be below 150 (preferably 130 but I'll be happy to get to 150 at this point!) Anybody add me! I like friends :D
  • "Do not take life too seriously, you'll never get out of it alive" - No idea, My dad has a belt buckle that says it "To live will be an awfully big adventure" - the movie Hook Not "motivational" per se but they remind me to do the things that make me happy and to do work to get what I want out of life The second one (Hook)…
  • Congrats!! Such self control! I'm absolutely a binge eater too and it's so hard to just say no, even to just a little bit, because you KNOW it's not going to feel like enough!
  • This is the best thread ever.
  • Love Star Wars! Especially the original 3. They're way better than the newest ones, in my opinion. But I'm a sucker for all things nerdy. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars.... haha love it!
  • That's incredible! I did the CN Tower climb last year (147 (ish) flights of stairs) right after getting over Mono and it killed me! I trained for weeks and didn't even lose weight! Stairs are killer, so that's awesome that you did that!!
  • Bump for this. I go over on sugar every single day and I'm not a fan of veggies! So I'd like to hear people's responses.
  • I love the idea of Owling more than Planking haha. Plus it reminds me of Harry Potter
  • ...Now all I can think about is how much I want cheese!!! haha
  • Hahaha same! Those poor kittens!
  • Around the halfway mark, I noticed my arms weren't nearly as flabby and gross, and my thighs didn't stick together as much hahaha. At day 24 or so, I tried on pants I hadn't worn in 2 years and they fit! I only lost 2lbs doing the shred, but I noticed a lot of different changes!
  • This is funny because I recently thought a weird NSV for me is that my thighs DO rub together now! 20lbs ago they were squished so tight together when I walked that they didn't even really move against one another... Like one being! haha. Now they actually rub! It's uncomfortable as all get out, but it means my thighs…
  • I just finished it yesterday! The first few days are painful haha! Drink a lottttt of water, too! But it's worth it. I didn't see a big loss in pounds (I ate awfully the whole month.. oops) but I did see some amazing changes in my body. I lost almost 2" on EACH THIGH! crazy! So good luck to you, you can do it!!!
  • I started January 1st and I've only lost a net of 24 lbs. And I seem to be stuck here, even though I just finished Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I'm hoping it starts to go away again, but it's been soooo slow! Especially after seeing other people on here lose 20lbs in like, 2 months!
  • Me me me! I'm 25 and I want to lose at least another 35lbs! That would put me at my highest weight for a healthy BMI.. So I wouldn't mind losing more! haha
