Don't give up!!! If you keep at it every day, you'll look in the mirror one day and see the hair falling off you. I promise!! Oh and make sure to take pictures over time. You may not think results are happening, but when you look back to your first picture, you'll see the changes!! Good luck :flowerforyou:

I make a soup with roasted butternut squash, roasted potatoes, carmelized onions-add chicken broth and puree it. Then I add a little cream, sage, and red pepper flake. It was some concoction I made for fun and now my hubby actually craves it.

Not so much at my job...once in a whil they get pretzels or water ice in the summer. Our department does celebrate when someone has a birthday, but it's not every week that this happens. However, our office does have a "no eating at your desk" policy where they say it's okay to have snacks that are bought at the vending…

I think this is a great idea! :-) (Sorry the picture is zoomed out-I'll try to fix it later)

Happy 2 year anniversary!!! I'm glad you're one of my MFP peeps! I think you're doing awesome and you're an inspiration to those of us that are feeling too lazy to get off our butts. Keep being awesome!!

Don't give up you're doing great!! I noticed for me, 20 pounds equals a pants size. When I lost weight before, I went from a size 18 to 16 when I lost 20 pounds and then when I hit the 30 pound lost mark, the size 16 was starting to feel loose. Now I'm back up to a size 18 since the pregnancy. 20 pounds is a rough estimate…

I saw on Amazon the Crossfire series is supposed to be the new 50 shades...

It wasn't my cup of tea. I borrowed the books because I'm not a huge fan of erotica novels so I thought I was going to find it offensive. I was neither offended or turned on...I actually found myself skimming through parts of the book to see if the love story picked up and caught my interest. I didn't finish the first…

 me too...as I clicked on the post I was thinking "my fat a** would'not' be hot on a pole" LOL

I pick things up and put them down...

Yes. I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to do the best I can for myself, but not stress over too much. If I didn't eat foods because of antibiotics/hormone injections, salmonella, lyesteria (is that what I'm thinking of in the produce), ecoli, chemicals, cancer inducing foods, etc...I wouldn't be able to eat hardly…

This is what I started doing. I use full sugar/fat flavored creamers and it's all I need to use in my coffee. It's fewer calories, fat, and sugar than when I used regular half and half with granulated sugar. (At one point, I even added granulated sugar to the flavored creamer...I cut that out though and thank goodness. One…

This. I'm hearing a lot now that if it's lower in fat, they add sugar or salt to help with taste. If it's lower in sodium and sugar, it's higher in fat. Also, I hate when they say that there's no added sugar to a food, or that it's lower sugar, and then you read the label and find out they added sweetner. I have to read…

I do find myself listening to this one the most lol. I need to update it though...I have more Disturbed songs I want to put on there...and another Dokken song.
-
I haven't updated it in a while, but I wrote a blog about my workout music (I had to create 3 playlists because I might be in the mood to listen to one type of music one day and then another genre the next day). This might give you some ideas... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/jessilee119

My husband does things to help me at the house and with the baby to help with my stress levels. He also tells me that he loves me and that I'm beautiful because he knows I have self esteem issues. I acknowledge as much as possible that I appreciate everything he does because I know he's a good man, husband, and father. I…

I haven't tried this with meatloaf yet, but one time I added white beans to my turkey burgers. It tasted great, gave it more protein, and also helps stretch a buck since turkey meat is more expensive and beans are not. Happy cooking!!

I would also suggest you track sodium. I looked at a couple of days in your diary and the processed foods, soy sauce, and chinese food are loaded with sodium. I track my sodium and it's crazy how much can be consumed without realizing. Alos, do you track all the water you drink? If you're not drinking enough water and…

I agree with this. If I have a day where I didn't record 100%, I won't click completed at the bottom of the page. Sometimes I just make food notes if I'm not going to record certain things so I still know what I ate that day. In the end, though, I would be lying to myself too which, as this quote states, defeats the…

Doh! You wanted fictional...I guess my answer technically breaks the rules...okay what about Henry Cavill as Theseus? I love me some mythology!!!

Henry Cavill in...well anything...I think he is soooo good looking

My husband has to do bloodwork for his health insurance. They also record his weight and ask if he's a smoker. This helps with the costs of insurance, so if he was unhealthy it would affect him. (he is not a smoker btw) When I was on his insurance they were charging him an extra $25 per paycheck because since I was…
