The pumpkin pie is the only one we make in our whole family (for ever!!) It is so delicious!
-
The whole "milk with crackers" thing makes me gag...my dad used to eat that and gross me out! I do, however, love a miracle whip & dill pickle sandwich on occasion and if you haven't tried it, you must put a cold dill pickle slice on a hot grilled cheese sandwich ---delicious!
-
Fabulous!!! Definitely a keeper!

I have 2 family favorites: 1) Corn chowder~ dice potatoes and barely cover with water...simmer until just about all the water is gone and potatoes are just tender. Add a couple cans of creamed corn, salt and pepper to taste. Soup should be on the thick side, serve once warmed through -top with shredded cheddar cheese!…

horton.... We all wanna see these pictures too!! LOL

I go by myself most of the time. I carry my phone (which is an iphone so it is my music and runkeeper program)... I have however taken 2 self defense courses and try to stay alert to my surroundings, which is the best I can do. If you are comfortable, go for it! (carry mace if you must  )

   I stay for the comedic factor! :blushing:

I don't because I fill a 1/2 gallon pitcher in the morning and have it gone by the end of the work day...so my AM coffee and everything after I get out of work is extra. I KNOW that I drink enough! :drinker:

I can only find my favorite around christmas time:sad: .....french toast flavor is soooooo good!:drinker:

I go through the entire routine the trainer showed me at my introduction to the gym....2-3 times a week and it only takes like 1/2 hr - 45 minutes. At least this way I know I'm doing the right things :)
-
I can't add my numbers until I get to work -tomorrow--I can't make revisions to the sheet from my kindle or iPhone:sad:
-
Great job!! I am in the same boat with you! I joined the gym and they have a virtual studio where you can do classes (which I love) but got with a trainer 2 weeks in to actually start a routine! I love it!!! I hurt for 3 days but have never loved exercising before now - except my zumba classes! I actually showed a loss…

My husband told me that he is proud of me for doing what I'm doing.

Any of you can add me as well!:flowerforyou: I lost 20# last year then quit trying...kept it off, but I've been back for almost 3 weeks trying to lose the 40-50# I have set as my goal.
-
Any of you can add me if you wish! I lost 20# last year then quit trying...though I've kept it off I still have about 40# to go to get to my first goal weight. Let's do this! :flowerforyou:
-
You can add me if you like:flowerforyou: I think 4 # a month is great! averaging 1# a week is a good slow and steady pace - I've been back on MFP almost 3 weeks now and have yet to record a loss  but I have started a weight /strength training program so I firmly believe I will show a loss soon:) Keep up the good work!
-
I think for most of us its 15-25 # depending on your build.... last year I lost just over 20# and 1 clothing size -- kept if off but quit trying:noway: so here I am

"googled it".... Not sure about the "missing" weights.. What's the best way to determine a healthy weight? You can look at your height and weight in the chart Height Weight Normal Overweight Obese 4' 10" 91 to 115 lbs. 119 to 138 lbs. 143 to 186 lbs. 4' 11" 94 to 119 lbs. 124 to 143 lbs. 148 to 193 lbs. 5' 97…

For me, I have to do something I enjoy and that helps. I got down to where "onederland" was actually a week or 2 away and totally lost it:sad: Back in the game and down 2# so here we go! Find something you enjoy doing for exercise and pick a reward for each milestone you reach! Best of luck to you:flowerforyou:

I look at it like this--If I'm going to stay away from processed sweets, I'm going to have fruit to replace it! END OF STORY:laugh: I'm sure if fruit were the only thing you eat, then you'd have some issues, but incorporating it into your daily balanced diet- it is wonderful! Eat On:happy:
