My scales do pretty much the same....body fat %, water %, BMI and BMR. I think the BMI/BMR numbers are based on calculations based on your weight and personal details put into the scales (height, sex, age etc). I'm sure you'll find lots of support available on MFP. My weight-loss target is very similar to yours and I've managed to get a good way along the track, and believe me, if I can do it, so can you! In terms of controlling your intake then i've found the MFP App to be invaluable. Oh, and stick with it. Then stick with it…
