Welcome and good luck! I love MFP, it is very rare that it does not find a food that I scan. So convenient and easy to use.

It is so easy to get off track for a bit, but just take it one day at a time...one meal at a time. Once you are a couple of days in doing that....it will seem easier. Looks like you have done a great job so far. Keep on truckin'!

Good for you! Keep up the good work :)

sounds very good, I am going to copy this one down! Thanks :)

This really is a great app....good luck to you this time! I find that the bar-code scanner works well...it picks things up more often than not. very convenient!

Yes, that evil scale! You are doing great, I should be measuring as well...but never do. WTG!

Good for you Fred, you can do it!

Because I can! haha, I always loved that saying :) I haven't been able to run as much lately due to a muscle that I pulled in my back. So...now that it is better I am so happy to be able to run again. Nothing makes you appreciate running until you cant. :)

Hi Sara, you are well on your way, WTG! Feel free to add me if you like, I am pretty new here myself

I totally and 100% agree! I am a runner, have done a couple of half-marathons, 10K races, I exercise very regularly and actually love it. I have no problem with the exercise part. However, if I don't eat right.....I don't lose. The exercise alone is not enough. A lot of people say to me "with all the exercise you do you…

cream in ma coffee!! And wine! I have lost 65 lbs so far without giving them up, so I doubt I ever will :)

Hi and welcome! Feel free to add me as a friend, I am fairly new here as well :)

I joined in on this challenge and then couldn't find it again! However, since then I hurt my back and haven't been able to run. I am hoping that maybe by next week I'll be back to normal.

I found the same thing when I was training for a half-marathon. I remember one long run, I had absolutely no energy in my legs, it was the worst run of my life, and that week I had really reduced my calorie intake. So, I decided to wait until after to really get myself going again. Good for you doing a full marathon, what…

Welcome back! I am pretty new here as well, it is a great site for sure :)

I love runkeeper! i've been using it since January or so. I have never used Nike + though, so can't really compare them.

Hello Emma! I am fairly new here as well, but not really knew to the whole "weight-loss" thing. I really do find that exercise is the key for me. It burns those calories and really does keep me motivated. Good luck to you!

Hi there, i think that we all probably know what you are feeling, I know I do...for sure! you are not alone. One thing that really helped me...is don't look at the big picture. Make small goals and it won't seem quite so daunting. Once you lose a little bit of weight, like even 5 or 6 lbs you will start to notice the…

Welcome! I am pretty new here too, it is a great site :)

I too, don't lose if I eat my exercise calories. I only seem to lose if I stick to 1200 or less, so thats what I "try" to do. :)

I love the idea of this, I hope its not too late to join in. I already keep track of my kilometers thru my runkeeper app for my iphone, and last month I ran 118K. Hmmm...this month, I will try to meet that at the least or exceed it. I'll say 120K for the month. So far this month I have run: Aug 1 - 10.45K Aug 2 - 6.10K I…
