are you incorporating any exercise into your routine? That will have some bearing on what types of calorie nutrition ratios you might want to target.

I notice that I always put on a couple of pounds right before and during my periods. Since your hormones are all screwed up right now, I would imagine that is a big part of it so I wouldn't really stress too much about it. That being said however, in order to maintain what you've gained, you really should be incorporating…

It's hard to say. Maybe you had a bigger calorie burn last year and maybe your input on your food diary was not as accurate? In any case, 8 lbs is fantastic but don't be discouraged with your 3 lbs either. You're on the right track for a healhty sustainable weight loss. That's what's important. Try not to obsess with the…

Hello! Feel free to add me... I'm at my goal now but I am passionate about health and fitness and I still need accountability too. it's easy to get off the right track and revert back to old habits if you're not careful. I'm happy to help support you however I can!

Feel free to add me - my diary and exercise logs are open (if not, let me know!). Although I still struggle with my nutrition. Weekends are the toughest. I do love healthy food so that helps but I also like treats. My goal is 80/20. Eat clean and healthy 80% of the time and allow for 20% of other stuff. Something that's…

Awesome job!! One thing about Insanity is there is a lot of leg work. Your thighs will get strong but you may not see a big change in inches in that region. You should everywhere else though and it's obviously working. It's the toughest at home workout on the market in my humble opinion so kudos to you for doing it and…

I haven't personally because I didn't have much to lose. But many people in my challenge groups have in less then 3 months. And it's a healthy way to do it, a sustainable life change, not a diet. It can totally be done!

You are alrealdy an inspiration!! Welcome back!

Hi Pete, Add me for support if you'd like. I love to have a network of positive people where we are all safe to be real and honest with ourselves and each other! Health and fitness is much more fun with people to share it with :)

Good for you!! Not for gaining some of the weight back, but realizing that you were off your game and therefore getting back in the game. It's scary how quickly you can fall back into bad eating habits, or exericise habits (although you're running a half marathon so you apparently still got that part under control).…

Sounds like a perfect thing to try for Sunday breakfast tomorrow! Thanks for sharing :)

Welcome!! Feel free to add me. I'm just looking for positive supportive people to share in the journey of being fit and healthy

Your calorie intake depends also on what type and how many workouts you're doing a week. But a net calorie of less than 1,000 lbs sounds too little. Also, remember that not all calories are created equal. It's just as important that the food you put in your body is fuel for your body, not empty calories. It really is a…

I totally feel ya! I'm super busy too but I do need this now and then to keep me in check for my nutrition. I work out six days a week, so that's not an issue. It's the nutrition I always struggle with. But I too may not log in every day, but that doesn't mean I'm not still working it!

No such thing as too ambitious!! But you should set smaller goals that you can reach and then when you reach those, set a new goal. It's helps to keep you motivated when you reach the smaller milestones! Maybe set yourself a goal for the next two months. How much do you want to lose? 10 lbs would be a great, realistic…

Hi Jade, Keep on going - do not get discouraged! I am a certified Insanity Instructor and I can tell you that it does work! I'd be happy to share my before and after pics with you via email, just let me know

You know yourself best, what do you think? I think if you are asking the question, than probably yes! I know when I first made the commitment, I was in an accountablity group with others doing the same workouts and not only did I complete it, I had made the first real changes to my body ever! It totally helped me.

Good for you! I hate negativity. Everyone has their own way and what works for one person may not work for another for whatever reason. The bottom line is we are all trying to better ourselves here! That's what's it's all about.

Feel free to add me! I'm looking for accountability partners too. I'm at my goal weight but I know to stay there, it's a constant work in progress!

I'm looking for a group to help hold me accountable. I did meet my goal BUT I also know how easy it is to lose your ground if you start slipping into old habits so I need to continually work at it! Add me if you'd like!
