This is in yards. The last couple of days I have gotten even further in the hour. I am really proud of myself. The turns are getting better . . .even tried to do my flip turns with fin and paddles this week . .that was interesting!

I also have the waterfi ipod shuffle and LOVE it! totally helps my workout go by faster!! I agree about getting the short cord, but even with that I have to tuck some into my cap/goggles.

In the hour I was able to do all the way thru the first main set and finished the second set of fin kicks. That took me the hour and then I continued on another half hour to work on flip turns. today is the first day i will work my new program, and she wants me to flip turn, so we will see how much water i suck in my nose by the end. . . .i agree with Mac, I am sure it will come with practice and time!

Yep . . .swam in pool at work which is not quite 25 meters, so I am unsure how much I did, but did about 45 minutes of laps! New program I got from my trainer today is about 2800 meters . . .(this is me running in fear!)

I practiced some today and I seem to have a bit better of a feel for it. I think it will take some time also as I know I still don't have the breathing down right and that can be disastrous if you don't time that right. I will get there . . .I am just still so excited I can do it! Thanks to the both of you for your help!

The last two were from swim suits for all . .i think the brand was aqua belle and they were specifically branded for high pool use. Panda I am intrigued by your breast stroke with fly legs . .i too have hip problems and sometimes have to do a modified kick when i am hurting more.

I do a water aerobics class every saturday, and then as part of my swim routine i do a lap or kick, pull, and then jog-totaling 8 laps of jogging. it sure does get my heart rate up! keep up the good work!

I swim with headphones in, so that helps. but i also carry a bottle around with me that had a mix of peroxide and vinegar and i put a drop or two in each ear after my shower. been much better since i started to do that.
