  • I have been taking Synthroid for years and have ALWAYS only waited 30 minutes before I eat. My levels have stayed within the normal range on my dosage, so a half hour must be sufficient. I too take mine in the morning, and sometimes 30 minutes is even too long to have to wait to eat lol! I could never wait several hours.

  • you should eat often, every two to three hours, that keeps your metabolism up! But protein, good fat and fiber help keep you fuller longer. If your eating a lot of empty calories, or "diet" foods, they likely won't fill you up for as long.
  • because MFP does all the calculations for you. You're already eating less than your BMR and you enter you exercise goals, which it takes into account too, when figuring out your daily calorie goal. Eat your exercise calories! Who doesn't want to eat more, and lose weight!? :)
