Yep. Its one of the many 'excuses' I've used over the years, can't exercise while I've got my period. Now, I just get on with it. And it does help with cramps etc.

This ^^ The article has just twisted it. Bascially, eating at an extreme deficit, with no exercise, will result in fast weight loss, but not only fat loss, muscle as well. A fast metabolism is not necessarily a healthy one.

Last week I reached a milestone (lowest weight loss in 13 years) and treated myself to some new workout clothes and a new bike (which was second hand so not too expensive!) In the past I have rewarded myself with a new piercing, hairstyle, jewellery. Next reward will be a new tattoo.
