it's a tough situation because you often gotta guard your machine or someone will snatch it up. asking to work in is the most effective way to help alleviate your waiting time. but 2 sets on leg press in 10 minutes? come on, i know he didn't need to rest that long. lol

thanks, i'll definitely take a look at that. one more question, sorry... since i regularly burn enough calories on my cardio days that my net will be below my BMR following these guidelines, should i eat back anything that would put me below my BMR, net?

i don't really advocate eating raw toast. what about salmonella and e coli?

between 1500-1800 net in between those months. sorry, not sure what my total was :-/ . and to correct myself, i actually kind of went to the TDEE-10% in about mid february, instead of march. not sure if that's really too important.

no, she got a couple good suggestions and replies from people who clearly didn't read her post very closely. personally if you're only going over by 500 and and drinking enough water, i don't think it's an issue. i go over by over 1,000 most days lol. do your best, and keep your water intake up.

and enough calories in general?

uhy, at that level you definitely did yourself a favor...i remember hearing about a woman who died as a result of drinking something near that amount daily.

i haven't heard this, so i'd be interested to hear if anyone has anything else to contribute to that point. for me, i cut out soda for gimmicky reasons (such as reasons 1-6). i feel a lot better now that i don't drink it nearly as often. i'm also eating better overall and am much healthier in general. the one thing i have…

yes, you're worrying about nothing. plenty of people on here do exactly what your'e describing

i think that's a little too ambitious. you shouldn't really lose more than 2 lbs a week (and that is hard to to unless you are grossly overweight, which you are not) so 16 should really be your max goal.

only excessive calories can actually cause weight gain. there is something to be said about making sure you get the right amounts of certain macro and micro nutrients. for instance, too little fat can cause issues with your hair and nails. it's about contributing to your overall health, not just your weight. p.s. don't…

try higher density cats like maine coons.

yes you are eating too little. you will probably lose weight for a few weeks and then stall and have to eat at maintenance again for a few weeks before starting to lose any more weight. i would bump it up to at least 1500 in order to avoid a plateau

definitely thought this was gonna be about that thing where you swish oil in your mouth for 10 minutes. so glad it wasn't. i'm happy you found something that works so well for you!

that's kind of my line of thought, i guess. if you want to take it after that cardio, it's definitely not going to hurt you. i used to drink one after EVERY workout, regardless of whether it was weights or cardio. however, i think that it would be *most* beneficial in terms of muscle building to do it specifically after a…

i always take it after. sometimes before. from what i've seen in my internet based research/what my husband has told me, it is most important to have after, specifically within about 30 minutes. your muscles are torn after lifting and getting that protein in to you ASAP helps start the repair process, so that you can take…

bigger is not bulky. women don't have enough testosterone to bulk like men do. if you're unhappy with the current size of your muscles, then you should probably just back off weightlifting or do low weights/high reps.

fat does not make you fat. you need fat to support your bodily functions. OP, i would suggest applying a think lotion to your hands right before bed and wearing cotton gloves. works miracles.

just lift.

and then when your sister shows up while you're in the process of killing someone....

calorie counting is the simplest. if you want to lose weight, what really counts is your net intake. limiting carbs can help you to limit your overall calories, but it doesn't magically make you lose weight. my mother had great success with atkins. but, she also ate a deficit, exercised, and intends to continue eating this…

and cinnamon. i've done this myself when i want something tasty but healthy. it is so yummy. i have it almost every day just as a snack
