I love how seriously everyone is taking this. I was going to loose weight to get my six pack but I'm 205. I'm now changing my plans because of this post... Ha!

I live in Wisconsin and we get some cold weather (and I have asthma so that doesn't help too) so I move my routine indoors. I have a membership to a place where the track is short but I just add sprints, stairs and lifting to my routines. They all add to my overall fitness so I don't mind too much. Good luck!

Great topic. Interesting read.

To actually answer your question YES! Yoga kicks my butt. Bikram Yoga is estimated at 1532 cal's/hour on MFP and that sounds about right to me (if not more).

Great topic. Me too.

He may have a problem with his family drinking or even a bad experience with drinking that has completely turned him off to drinking. If you can't talk to him and figure out why he is so turned off then maybe it's time to move on. Fix the problem before it becomes too big of a problem or just move on ... Your young...

I like my name despite Brad Pitt ruining it a little. "Legends of the Fall" is released and suddenly there are a bunch of Tristan's in the world.

Old? Really? OK....

If this doesn't get fixed real soon the NFL is going to be better than UFC!

The nervous feeling before the race usually makes me go but if that doesn't work then I usually don't have to go until well after the race. Never thought about this and I run lots of races....

I agree with the recent posts. Tours are great but get permission and buy in. Introducing your well informed boss (names, what they do and which contracts they supply) along the tour would probably earn you some great points on both sides (your boss and the vendor). Apologies, let your boss know that that will not happen…

A good Chiropractor can probably fix that in seconds and provide stretches/exercises that can help you. If you lived closer to me I would suggest mine...

I'll watch to make sure you do it right.. ;)

Cheesecake Factory. They have a new "skinny" menu but their regular menu is horrible... and so good...

My big accomplishment of last year. Tough Mudder finisher.
-
I did the Tough Mudder a couple of weeks before the Warrior Dash so the dash was easy but as long as you can run 4-5 miles you can get through the Warrior Dash. The obstacles are fairly easy and there's a lot of help from everyone else if really need it. Good luck!

Well Done!

I have this problem when I forget my compression shorts. I wear compression shorts under my regular shorts. This makes the regular shorts slide right back into place. I get basketball shorts though and since they are a lot looser they don't slide up as much. Maybe it'll work with soccer shorts................

Yes, it's a book. Eat Right for Your Type [Book] by Peter D'Adamo, Catherine Whitney in Books G.P. Putnam's Sons (1996) - Hardback - 392 pages - ISBN 039914255X Interesting and informative. I don't stick to it exclusively but I try to stay in the beneficial list as much as possible. Let me know what you think.

Epic fail on the trainer's part. Their job is to push you but also to monitor your progress and make sure you don't toss your cookies. Sorry to hear but at least you know your limits. Now it's time to push them...

I just checked mine too and it was private. Thanks for letting us know. Nothing about my weight loss is private... I don't think...
