I agree with melaniecheeks, this is a short run. Enjoy your vacation with the family and focus on finishing the race instead of time. You can focus on improving your time later.

So.... you're saying that you're the female version of Good Luck Chuck? How you doin? Just kidding, I was actually Good Luck Chuck for a little while and I hated it. The rules of dating are constantly evolving and I hated keeping up with them. Glad I'm out of that "game".

I've done the tough mudder twice and I'm planning on doing it again this year. It's a lot of fun while challenging your body. Make sure you can run 14-16 miles (off road) and that you can lift your body weight (you have to pull yourself over/through/under obstacles). Good Luck!

I did the Warrior Dash last year for fun after doing the Mudder. We went in the noon wave and the people in front of us really slowed us down so go early. We ended up running just under an 8 minute mile pace because we caught up to a bunch of people. The obstacles weren't that much. (remember, we did the Mudder before…
