  • Daily, and I write it down + enter it into MFP. It makes the weight jump around a lot but after doing it for month and months and months (actually.. probably over a year) its given me a really good idea of what makes me gain weight and what my weightloss pattern is. Lots of people don't like weighing in everyday because…
  • Just in defense of the ridiculous title: in publishing you rarely get to choose your own titles for articles. Any article I've ever published in a newspaper or magazine has had a title written by the editors to grab reader's attention. Usually a play on words, something eyecatching, or ..a play on words (i swear to be an…
  • I also add raspberries from time to time before heating it, then it's like pbj
  • Wow!! That is a huge huge difference. Your face looks so well defined (jealous of cheekbones) Great idea to take a photo after workouts.. wish I had started that long ago
  • Current one because holy abs of steel!!
  • I used to have very very low blood pressure, but it slowly crept up over the years. Now that I've lost weight the low blood pressure is back along with the familiar symptoms: -going 'blind' when I stand up suddenly (everything goes white, then comes back into vision) - lots of head rushes when doing yoga -dizzy if I take…
  • Relationship! I'm a serial monogamist. First bf was 5 yrs single for two weeks second bf was three years single for a month third (and final most awesome bf) is two years and counting. When I went through my break ups I was all NO BOYFRIENDS.UGH I DO NOT WANT TO MEET ANYONE. and then BAM.. ok I'll go out to dinner with…
  • I worked at a preschool during university and I have lots of those moments. Once a three year old girl was sitting on my lap and turned to me and said "My mom says you HAVE to wear a bra" and poked me right in the boob. So I said "I am wearing one. But thank you." and she replied "Are you sure?" and was trying to move my…
  • Yah the site has guy's photos. Definitely not as many as the girls.. and it really really varies because of different levels of bodyfat amongst the guys. Some guys in the higher weights looks a bit overweight, other ones are really ripped
  • I found that too! I also thought that the ladies at the weight I was beforehand looked pretty good. It's funny how it's hard to determine what you look like until you have some photos to compare it to
  • I have to hide crackers (like those garlic triskets) deep in the cupboard. I'll still eat them and measure out a serving, but if I can see them and start just absent-mindly snacking then I'll eat an entire box I also do recipe development and food writing so I bake 4-6 times a week, like really delicious bad for you stuff.…
  • I snort-laughed. I'm __years old and enjoy eating 4oz of chicken for lunch with 2 cups of spinach and 1 TBSP oil 2tsp vinegar. Looking for someone who values protein. Lets eat our exercise calories back together <3 <-- future profiles of MFPdating site
  • I find that works with old, smaller clothes However, when i bought new clothes that didn't look right because they were too small, I've found that now that I fit into them they still don't look right! So now I have some dresses and shirts that I've never worn because they just aren't flattering even though they are now the…
  • oops. Thought of three more relevant to when you are juuust starting out - Put up 3 - 5 posts before you start promoting/linking/sharing your blog. It gives readers a bit more content to look through and get a feel for your blog. That way they keep coming back and checking for new posts - When you are first starting to…
  • I've been blogging for a few years and it's also become part of my job. I started using Typepad's free platform but eventually upgraded to account that costs money (once I started making $$ from ad revenue). I love Typepad so I would say check them out, it's really straightforward to set up, especially the free blog they…
  • I can't quite see your whole face, but I'd say Reese Witherspoon
  • I'm tired of always being left out of these clique-y little groups with their limiting requirements. :( forever alone.
  • Great place to start! And skinnytaste's recipes are awesome. I love her healthy chicken nuggets. You should check out 'Oh She Glows' blog too, lots of great healthy recipes
  • I had a lower end elliptical at home, nowhere as nice as the gym, but still worked fine. However, I've used a lower end tredmill and I could not believe how ****ty it was! Loud loud loud, felt ****ty to run on etc. If you are buying for your house and don't have a big budget I think elliptical are the way to go
  • For ladies with long hair: washing my hair from my workouts really ruins it, but no-poo doesn't work on my fine hair (seems to be better for thicker, curlier hair.) Solution: Before I work out I rub coconut oil into the ends and about halfway up my ponytail, then i twist it into a bun and tuck the coconut oil ends inside…
  • I lost 25 lbs a year ago and kept it off. I was tired of counting calories and staying at 1200 so I stopped counting but kept a close eye on my weight. After a year I started to lose this last 25 lbs (not much more to go!) , what started me up again was finding an exercise class that I love (barre classes) and that led to…
  • I work full time plus have a multitude of freelance projects. I often do morning workouts but because my schedule changes so much I found the best thing to do is sit down with my planner at the beginning of each week and schedule in my workouts for the week, then schedule in freelance and chores and other obligations so…
  • You'll be glad to have those photos a few months from now! I wish I had mine from 44 pounds ago
  • Navy: Current photo, good progress!
  • I don't have a set cheat day, so I'll go a week or two staying within calories but if there is an event or we have a big dinner out I EAT ALL OF THE NOMS. everything. But that's usually just one meal, not the whole day.
