When you start to feel like, look at the accomplishments you have made and not the number on the scale. Or you could convert the number on the scale to %. You may have only lost 40% of your body wieght, but realize that you didn't have 50% to lose. A person the goes from 300lb to 140 lost more weight, but not too much more…

I'm there too. :grumble:

Hang in there. They will notice, but it's different on everybody. I didn't have anyone say anything unitl about 5 months in and I was down 30lbs. I don't know if they were just holding back to be sure, or if because the weather started getting warmer I was wearing less clothes, so you could see it more. It will happen.

Nice!!! Congrats.

I know it's hard, but don't be mad. Maybe he thought you wanted it and with all the hard work your body has been through, maybe he thought you earned it. I think it's nice that he thought of giving you the money to spend on yourself. In his mind it might be like a spa day.

I am 39 and I started doing the c25k program at 215lbs. I have never been a runner before, so it's not like I had experience before. I would just listen to your body. Make sure you wear proper shoes. I go to a chiropractor pretty regularly, just for maintenance. I did have one issue with my knee. He adjusted it, told me to…

That's awesome progress. Thanks for sharing your success with us.

I don't know the calorie count on the soup, but you could google it and get some reference points to start with. I will let you know a little trick on the calorie counts on this website. Anything with an asteric has been entered by a member. Their info could have come from a website, the side of the package or any other…

Exactly this. ^^^^ Unfortunately he was under your skin and could pick the one thing that would hurt you the most as an excuse. He is a liar. He knew it would feel like a slap in the face. It wasnt' becuase you were to fat, it was because you were too strong and getting stronger and sooner or later you would have realized…

I have one that chirps when my hr gets below 118, so I don't forget, but my hr usually returns to normal by the time I change my shoes and leave the gym, which is fairly quickly.

Shoveling burns a ton of calories. ***SMACK**** Ouch!!!!! I deserve that. Boy, I can't imagine that much entrapment. You could do some toning or strength training without a lot of euipment. Run in place while watching TV, you could do jumping jacks, run up and down your stairs, push ups situps. etc.

You got a point. I don't have it, don't flaunt it. I am one of those baggy workout pants and an oversized t shirt. They are getting bigger though, so I guess I'm getting smaller.

I pretty much knew this stuff. I steer clear of most of it. I think people are getting hung up on the cheese thing. He didn't say cheese alone, It was the cheese with the processed cracker combo. He even suggested cottage cheese on rice cakes. Don't give up cheese, just put it with the right combination of food. I did read…

You need to stop looking at the number on the scale and more at the body being weighed. Obviously you are reshaping in a good way if your goal pants fit. The scale lies get off of it and keep doing what you are doing. The scale may someday catch up, but if it doesn't don't worry,

I love mine. They are part of me. They helped me feed my babies and it's something that I can share with my hubby and we both get pleasure. :blushing: Maybe tmi, but you asked.

yup!!! I agree too.

I would have had to stop my machine and go into the bathroom. For sure, I would have wet myself laughing so hard, being utterly greatful it wasn't me. If it was me, I would have wet myself laughing right in front of everyone, making it even worse.

You are making nice progress. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

I think it depends on whether you like to cook and be creative or not. I like to cook, and try new recipes. I use this website called allrecipes.com You can add recipes to your box and pick the ones you want to cook and it will create a shopping list for you. If you just want some simple ideas, look at healthy things you…

Well, it's not horrible atrocious, but I think you can do much better. I see that you have veggies in there, but no fruit. You aren't logging any water either. I also noticed on the days you exercised and burned 800+ calories you didn't eat any of those back and netted well under 1200. Because it is only 3 weeks in you…

Don't know

Great job. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see your 6 month either.

Hi Nikki Happy Birthday!! You came to the right place to lose weight and meet lots of new people. I too held on to a lot of pregnancy weight for a long time. Much longer than you. Last year I had finally had enough and I found this website. It has helped enormously. As you can see I am down 46lbs and I still have more to…

unfortunately society has adapted to this behavior. It almost seems normal to these people. Don't let it get to you though. You are healthy and confident and beautiful. Don't let a douchy guy get under your skin.

I agree with you, it was an aquired taste. I did a bunch of research before I made the leap to greek. The stuff I was reading about the amounts of calcium, vs sugars and calories, chobani was the best for having the most protiens, with the least amount of added sugars and sufficient calcium. I add granola or ground flax…

I think given your height and current weighy, you are at a healthy weight. You may not be able to lose more weight. Maybe you shoule focus on toning and strength training instead of the number on the scale. Best wishes.
