I grow my own herbs every year and when fall comes, i harvest them and either dry them out or put them in a container with olive oil and freeze them. My rosemary has survived the last 2 winters.

The salmon has omega 3 in it so that's good. Red skin potatoes are starch which will give you instant energy to burn. Switch to whole wheat pasta is better. You don't want trans fat. The only fats you want are mono or poly fats. Dark green veggies are awesome for you unless your on blood thinners.

EVOO would be a good thing for putting in pans when frying. When something calls for oil in baking bread, you can use applesauce.

As i became my journey as a Culinary major and learned about nutrition, i was curious about what I was putting in my body each day. I figured I'd try to eat better and treat my body with more care. It's amazing the garbage we feed our kids in America now days when we should be promoting healthy eating habits.
