PS I just bought a walking treadmill, and I’m excited for it. I’ve had muscle issues with my back before so even though I dream of one day lifting heavy weights, I need to go gently with movement.

Hi Add me too! Working on sugar addiction and moving more 🙂

Hi I would love to be your “buddy”! We are about the same weight and I have the same issue with sugar and chocolate. I’d love to message once or twice a day for moral support as we become our healthier, stronger selves.
-
Also a little about me, I enjoy people, like my alone time too, empathetic, love to laugh, currently unemployed, cat fosterer, singer, recently very sedentary, determined, persistent.
-
You can add me- I’m a great cheerleader and I could use support too!

I’ve had Fitbits and I wasn’t sure if Apple Watch could do what fitbits could. But it does more! Especially because I swim with it... I feel like it fulfills heart rate/determining calorie expenditure accurately. I also love the motivation that comes from closing your “rings” on the Apple Watch.

Hope I can participate even though we are past January? Would love to encourage others-- Is there a way I should start first post?

My jaw locked 2 years ago and I had to go on a liquid diet. This obviously does NOT happen to everyone so please don’t be concerned- odds are slim this could ever be you. I am a lifelong grinder and have worn a mouthguard since I was 14. I’m 35 now. But it seems like since your symptoms are recent, they may go away, just…

You can friend me if you'd like extra support- snacking is a struggle for me as well. Its sounds like if you avoid it all together you may really over do it when you "break". Someone once told me to work on avoiding the shame of snacking, and then the amount wouldn't always go overboard.

I want to say congrats on the hard work you've already done! I am currently getting tested to see if I'm gluten intolerant.
-
Hi Ralphie- I am 30+ and found out I may be gluten intolerant as well. They are doing tests. I'd love to be a sounding board and I'll need one too

Just bought a bottle of Starbucks Light Mocha for 100 calories at the grocery store. It's made parially with Splenda and will be sweet enough if that's the kind of treat your looking for! But yes- don't fully deprive!!

I'm doing this as well. While weight is not consistent every day I like to see the trends- I would hate to weigh myself once a week if that one day happened to be a "gain day".
