14 stone puts you at 190 pounds or so and that seems like a paltry amount of food - you should look into calculating your TDEE and actually figuring out macros for yourself - you wont be able to adjust to making that weight loss permanent unless you make it a part of your life but thats just MHO

Doctors dont bring up weight that often because our society is PC as hell and you can't bring it up. I will only bring it up on certain occasions and if the person seems receptive and even then I sugar coat the hell out of it

orlistat or phentermine are the only real 'weight-loss pills' of course they do have side effects but i think combined with a good diet and exercise regimen and under physician supervision they are a fantastic weight loss aid

in order to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks you need to be at a 35000 calorie deficit for 14 days - there is no way to do that within healthy parameters

weight fluctuations from day to day are pretty unreliable could have simply been that you didnt have a bowel movement, were retaining water, had more glycogen that day cause you consumed more carbs - day to day fluctuations are not reliable
