@ soleilxo - 5'4" and 100 pounds is underweight. It puts your BMI at 17.2. Unless your an athlete, body builder, dancer, etc may be getting carried away with your weight loss. Sorry to be blunt, but I'm tired of seeing young girls on here trying to hit some model-thin goal weight. To the original poster of this thread.…

You're the same height as me. So I'd say 115 is not unreasonable. I've always seen a general rule of allowing 100 pounds for your first 5 feet and then adding 5 pounds for each inch over 5 feet. That would put us both at 120 for a good weight. Of course, it's a GENERAL rule, so it's not meant to be a perfect fit for…

Maybe that's just for "most" people and I am one of the exceptions?? Something to…

Thanks for your response. Yes. I completely agree that I shouldn't be looking for medical advice on the internet, I'm just really curious about others opinions and experiences. I sent a friend request to you so you can see my food diary. I have had high cholesterol since the first time it was checked, but my HDL and…

Folic acid (also known as folate, vitamin M, vitamin B9 (according to Wikipedia). You're supposed to take it if you're of child bearing age because if you're low on folate, your baby is more prone to neural tube defects like spina bifida. The risk of neural tube defects is significantly reduced when supplemental folic acid…
