  • Here is the progress from start to end week 1. Left is start, right is ending week 1. I know not much yet but hey every little bit helps.
  • I heard X2 was a beast. Good luck!
  • My wife and I are doing P90x3. I did P90X before I got married (about 30 days of it). I weighed about 230 and am down to 224 now. We want to lose some inches in our mid areas, we both are not happy with our appearances. My Goal is to get at least to 180 but would like to be at 170. My plan is to do P90x3 Classic then do…
  • I am right there with you. I finally got it off and got over the initial hump. I couldnt get under 226. My suggestion is to get intense. Think of it as a life or death situation. When a cheetah is chasing a gazelle, the gazelle does not just trot along and say well that's all I got I just can't do any more. The gazelle…
  • Heck here is my starting pics. I will add my progress after the end of week 1 tonight.
  • Because of you I went out and got one to try. You can add me if you want. Same name as on here.
  • I was looking at the UP last night. The reviews on amazon are very mixed but seems that it could potentially do what I want it to do.
  • Good to hear. I am doing the classic now, and will do the Lean next just to give it a go. I will probably do Mass after that. I am not good at cardio at all. Once I can get through the classic I should have no problem with the Lean method. Thanks for the feedback.
  • Because you are burning so many calories with P90X it is important to eat more. But it is the quality of the food that matters. Keep the carbs low and protein high. For my height and weight, I am supposed to eat 3000 calories a day.... That is just crazy. needless to say I am not doing that much. I will be eating less than…
  • It isn't easy. Keep with it. Work hard. Do your best and forget the rest. I am doing P90X3 right now. It is amazing. You see results very quickly.
  • Im right there with you. I had to take mini breaks but I pushed all the way through it. My heartrate sky rockets to around 185-200. When it its that I know it is time to back off a bit. But other than that I keep pushing through. If I cant breathe then I slow it down. Remember it is supposed to be intense. Push yourself to…
  • Keep up the good work.
  • I guess so. Maybe I will invent one that is also a teleportation device and everytime you teleport it burns 300 calories. Anyway. I also am using a Galaxy S4 so whatever I get it needs to be compatible with Android.
  • Great. I will look into that.
  • Sure thing. I got my before pics ready to go. On day 5 tonight, and already starting to see a difference. Down about a pound and a half since I started.
  • CVX is brutal after the challenge. Arms are sore from the challenge but picking the right weight and pushing yourself is essential. if you don't feel CVX the next day then you didn't push quite enough.
  • I am looking for the same thing. Some of the workouts focus more on cardio (Agility X, CVX) and others are more Strength (The Challenge). What I have been doing is logging them as similar workouts until I can get a heart rate monitor. At the moment it is a complete guess that is in no way accurate. For the Challenge, I did…
  • I started last Thursday. Did CVX last night and wanted to DIE. Obviously picked a weight that was too heavy. I want to get an activity monitor that will accurately calculate calories burned or figure out a way to accurately record them here on MFP.
  • I thought about getting one but I read terrible reviews about them breaking constantly so I didn't go with one.
  • I did P90X before I got married about 2 years ago. I have gained it all back since then, the wife and I started yesterday and we both love it. I ordered a heart rate monitor and got to get some bands because the door frames are to large for the pull up bar.
  • Started Yesterday!
  • I am logging my stuff as best as I can, I don't weigh my food but I do measure it when possible.
  • Thanks. I will definitely try that, I am going to look at going under the 90 grams as much as possible. I think 30g is a way too low to even be reasonable at this point.
  • Thanks I will check that out.
