Thanks for the responses. I posted because I'm still amazed myself. I can't believe I wasted YEARS doing only cardio when I could have seen better results strength training. I seriously plan to keep upping the weights to see what else this body of mine can take.

How many step ups do you do per leg. I'm a novice and started using my dining room chair with 5lb weights. I'm at 15 lbs weights and feel like with each increase in weight, I should be doing more than 10 steps on each leg.

4:30am here (I factor in my long commute) and you're positively right! Knocking it out in the morning and I'm energized all day. Like you when I used to work out after work, I'd think about it all day- plus because of endorphines, I'm energized when it's time for bed and with my insomnia, that was bad.

Yup- I saw that too- I'm a newbie too and I've actually had to use the 'ignore' a feature on those people who think their sarcastic comments are "funny". They seem very full of themselves.

Wine- Moscato to be precise. It's only 127 calories per 5oz so I manage to fit it in there from extra calories I gain from walking.

I have major problems going to bed at night and one of the remedies is a big meal. After I eat my 500 calories at night, I'm knocked out. Works pretty well for me!
