I am on the third time trying it. The first time was brutal and you can repeat the weeks. Just take your time. It is better as you work out and get in shape.

I cut up an apple, add 1 tablespoon chia seeds and 1 tsp of peanut butter. Microwave it all together for a yummy apple crispy treat.

You have the right attitude in focusing on the positive changes, increasing the time on the treadmill, feeling better after walking up stairs and seeing the difference in your jeans. Keep that focus along with the changes in your food choices and activity levels, and the weight loss will show up on the scale. Check out…

This board needs a love button! Encouraging to hear all the success stories. Mine is that I am finding the C25k easier this time around, no walking on jog sections for week 2. My jeans are too big now. The scale is not showing much, but with all the activity- I feel better and have more energy.

Since you've talked to your doctor, you are on the right path. Lack of physical movement after surgery is also a factor, can you walk at all? I second the warm apple juice as I was going to suggest drinking warm water instead of cold. Warm works for me. Good luck.

Yoga instructors are very friendly and helpful, it's a good idea to try a class b/c you will get help with the poses.

You are doing great, such a change! Just think of how you would be feeling if you weren't active.

PB and jelly on sandwich thins. Cook the oatmeal ahead, better than instant and more filling.

Yep, getting easier. I finally figured out the beat.

Way to go! Congratulations.

I did the same thing two years ago, felt the pop and crawled upstairs. Keep it up, on ice and take some anti-inflammatory drugs ( motrin, advil) and see a doctor tomorrow. There are a lot of ligaments and tendons in that area and they will figure out which one and how bad. My primary sent me to an orthopedic. You will need…

Today was a late morning and I still went downstairs and did some strength training on the ball, after doing Jillian's warm up for the 30 day shred. Afterwards I started the C25K for the third time, but was able to do all of the running parts easier than before. Amazing what a week of daily cardio will do for you.

And here you get real commente, not just a generic like.

Congratulations. Always good to have other positive changes going on within.

So this is what I had- They had a special which was a black bean tostada with baked squash and a salad on top. I asked them to cut back the cheese to 1/2, skip the creamy avacado dressing and ordered a small side of guacamole ( about 2.5 tablespoons). I only had a couple of bites of the tostada and my husband had a 1/3 of…

Mine is open, if you are interested, But I just started and was at 1200/day for the first week, which I increased to 1350. If our diaries are open, does that mean you can see recipes also? The soup I made yesterday with chili peppers and black beans is delicious!

I know you have already cooked it but this is what I do: broil it after drizzling salad dressing. Last night we had it with Greek dressing. I was raised on fried, breaded haddock, but love my way. I grill it in tinfoil With onions and peppers, good that way also.

Hello, I started last week, and this is my third major weight loss program in 4 years. With each program, I learn what works and this time, I know that I need to add the exercise in without the excuses. My lowest weight ever as an adult was 147 pounds when I was a college senior with the "poor student" diet which consisted…

Thank you for sharing. It's great to hear how you did it. I agree about the soda, even diet , once you stop, you don't miss it.
