Today was week 5, day 2. Despite my desire to be a runner, I found myself dreading the thought of running. It was actually a lot easier than I expected it to be. I did find myself already dreading the 20 minute run next time though.

OnMyWay-LOVE your post. I argue with Shaun T. the entire time I'm working out. :) Cardio Recovery today. My 12 year old did it with me. He argued with Shaun T too and demanded to know how this was a recovery.

I didn't lose weight the first time but I lost a whole lot of inches. Have you taken your measurements?

My knees hurt too. I bought different shoes and after a few weeks in (last time) I had knee wraps on both knees while I was doing it. I can already feel my knees again and I'm only on day 4!

I've completed Insanity before but have fallen off the workout wagon since then. I restarted yesterday and it was just as painful as it was the first time. That's what I get for slacking! If I remember correctly, week 3 of both months was the worst for me last time. Day 2, done!

Oh boy, if Ceelovejay sees this you're going to get the lecture I got! You're supposed to throw them in your washing machine every five days. You're also supposed to read the directions when you get it but I didn't do that either! lol

I did CLX. I really liked it. I lifted much heavier with CLX because she goes slower and concentrates on form more than the S90 program does. I just needed a change of pace from Chalene because I was also doing Turbo Fire. Love her still...just needed to change it up.

Day 5- I was wide awake from 3-5:30. Still got up at 6:30 and worked out. Shoulders and arms today. They currently feel like jello. Painting ceilings is on my to do list. That should be good with spaghetti arms. :bigsmile:

Day 4-Tabata Inferno. At this point my brain is still telling my body we like working out again and my body still isn't convinced. I've got two strep magnets at home with me so I could possibly just be run down still. Big check mark next to DONE!

Good for you! I will get there! Today is a rest day and I need it. My abs are sore. Not a good time to be developing a cough. LOL I'm happy to go granny-style walking in the freakishly warm 50 degree Illinois winter today.
