So sorry for your loss. I recently lost my four year old toy poodle as well. He was killed by our neighbor's German Shepard and her pups....I'm still taking it hard and took off work for a few days...pets are our family. Just take it day by day!

I too am on metformin for pre-diabetes and also PCOS....and I always crave potatoes and pasta LOL...but this year I decided to make the change for myself.... I'm eating a lot of eggs, cheese (love laughing cow), brocolli, carrots and fruits....seems like the best foods are carbs lol!! Good luck to you!!

it is very hard...especially if you have no rhythm like me....but I find myself picking it up the more often I do it.
