Have you looked at Cathe Friedrich's DVDs? You can do weights at home (you can get a few heavier weights etc. to use...they even have them at Walmart). That's what I'm trying to do (I'll let you know how it goes).

I am totally in the same boat! Would love it if you would all add me as well! Would love to surround myself with like-minded people who love to eat and stay healthy at the same time! :)

#4 for sure!

Can't wait to try these -- thanks!

My stats: Height: 5'4" 34 years old Mom of 2 (youngest is 6 months old) SW: 174 (my highest weight was much higher when pregnant, but I have no idea what is was...never asked the doctor, and never looked when they measured, lol!) CW: 151 GW: 120 (ish...I'll adjust as I get closer depending on how I look and feel) Log…

I came in here all fired up and ready start doing shaky fists, lol! Phew. Yes, l like them as well.
-
Sorry, no ideas...but it has been happening to me as well (though not all of the time, which is odd).
-
Yum! Definitely going to try this -- thanks!

So awesome and inspiring! Brought tears to my eyes! Wow...just wow.

I don't profess to be an expert (just starting on the IPOARM stuff myself), but I found this blog post to be super helpful: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/lillebanon/view/my-take-on-eating-more-to-weigh-less-254554 It suggests that you should eat back exercise calories only if you net less than you BMR that day (so that…

<"Jackie O" and "Malcolm X". (Easier than learning how to upload a pic, lol!)
-
I have a Boston -- would happily share a pic if I knew how!? :ohwell:
-
I just try to plan for it...but I also limit myself to one or two on Saturday (big workout day for me). I'm about to enjoy a yummy microbrewed IPA -- super hoppy and super delicious! :drinker:

Yeesh...I swear I haven't started drinking yet...somehow managed to double-post!

The biggest issue that sodium causes (for healthier people) is that it can make you retain water and can cause you to feel more lethargic (or so my nutritionist/personal trainer has told me). I have an issue with sodium too (dang pre-packaged foods), and find that when I manage to keep my sodium levels down, I generally…

Bumpitty bump bump! So inspirational...I really needed this to motivate me to keep at it (2 kids, 2 c-sections, 22 months apart). I'm only two months into my journey (5 months post pardem)...but I hope someday I'll be able to post my own pics! Thanks Mommas!

Huge Canucks fan here (maybe it's obvious from the profile pic)...but I still love any/all hockey (except the Bruins...my heart still hurts from that one, lol)!

Bump

I love mine! Definitely motivating...totally worth it!

I love my aria as well (but I'm also a totalt fitbit addict)!

Asiago is delicious! (though if I had to guess, I would say the sodium is probably quite a bit higher...in case you're counting that sort of thing)

I do it in my basement...either at night or while my 2 year old is napping. Sometimes, I have to put my 4 month old in the neglectomatic (bouncy chair) to watch while I do it...but I get it done! Definitely doesn't need to be too loud (really, the only loud thing about it is the sound of panting and/or grunting while…

Vancouver, BC! (okay...now I'm in a suburb thereof...but you know what I mean!) (And I'm still feeling sour about the whole Bruins thing...).

Hi! I'm a 34 year old mommy of two (a 2 year old and a 4 month old -- 22 months apart)! currently home on maternity leave. Feel free to add me! Edit: Forgot to mention that I have about 38 more pounds to lose (down 16 pounds so far).
-
Hi mommas! I am exclusively breastfeeding my 4 month old, and have been on here since January. Anyone can feel free to add me!

I just log it as circuit training. That is slightly high compared to the formula that is suggested by Jillian Michaels, but it's a pretty good estimate. The more precise calculation is something like 3.267 calories per pound per hour...so you multiply 3.267 by your weight, then divide by 60 minutes, then multiply by…

Thanks (re: how to post GIFs)!

I posted on the other post as well...but when I went back to edit/delete it, I couldn't figure out how!? (I'm a moron...I know!) I just wanted to say that I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong. I've already had a bunch of PMs from people offering to help with my TDEE question (and, yes, I had already used the search…

I was thinking the exact same thing! I'm fairly new on here, and have been trying to understand all of the TDEE and starvation mode stuff...but I'm terrified to post a question in any of the forums, because I'm sure I'd get bashed and bullied. It's too bad that even adults have to deal with bullying.
