  • This made me laugh. I feel like hibernating every morning when it's time to get up to go to the gym.
  • Nobody starting up any new hobbies, huh?
  • Roll that filling into an egg roll wrapper instead of a thick crescent roll, mist it with just a bit of cooking spray and bake it that way. This will save you a bunch of calories for each roll, and will make the buffalo sauce flavor come through more without so much bread masking things, and a crispy baked egg roll gives…

  • A large pizza wasn't a binge for me in college, that was my regular serving size. I lived across the street from one of the cheapest dives in town, and I loved it. Box of Kraft Mac and Cheese - Yep, again, that's always been my regular meal portion. Pint of ice cream? Yeah. Never considered that an ice cream binge.…
  • Thanks for the encouragement!
  • http://www.bigasssandwiches.com/index.html Roast beef, or turkey, or ham, or whatever, some bechamel cheese sauce, and a huge pile of french fries. And some other stuff, probably. I dunno, I get lost in there. Best sandwich in Portland, Oregon.
  • One slice of toast topped with two eggs over medium and two slices of bacon. And a nice big bowl of Cheerios and skim milk. All about 525 calories. Yum.
  • 800 calories is about right for a 210 pound male running 5.5 miles. That 100 calories per mile average is a very weak estimate. For someone his size, 150 calories per mile is much more likely. Various online running calculators would confirm that. OP, eat a nice big handful of nuts. And some chocolate chips. That will do…
  • I have a cuisinart brand that also has reversible and removable plates, so you can wash them in the sink. And it unfolds flat and you reverse the plates for a flat griddle for stuff like pancakes, etc. Chicken breasts don't dry out because of the grill. they dry out because they are overcooked. We use a meat thermometer;…
  • Bacon, chicken, egg, cheese, avocado. All together, with veggies (lettuce and greens, spinach, tomatoes, carrots, cucumber) and blue cheese dressing. That's a filling salad. I just had it, came in at about 600 calories. A perfectly acceptable portion for a filling lunch.
  • I eat fast food quite a bit, honestly. If you are searching for <400 calorie meals at a fast food restaurant, I ask you why you are eating less than 400 calories for lunch? I shoot for 600-800 or so, which easily fits most places. My favorites are Panda Express (I get the veggies as the side dish, and just have to avoid…
  • Yes, this is exactly where I was. Not hungry when I knew I should be starving. But now, the hunger is back, for sure.
  • I had/have exactly the same problem. I think this is very common, especially among people who lost quite a bit of weight (I'm at 65 pounds lost). Go up slowly, and just rework your current meals to have a bit more calories - use your full-fat dressings, or add cheese to your salad, etc. Eat a hamburger now and then, even…
  • I kind of just do it because I feel like I'm supposed to, honestly. I have a very sedentary desk job, so I have to exercise because it's good for me. Not because I love it, but because it's healthy to do it, I guess.
  • Thanks, everyone! This makes me feel a bit better. Someday my own eyes will catch up and I'll see the new me, instead of the old.
  • Thanks for the kudos, everyone. And kudos right back at all of you for your accomplishments!
  • Somebody please congratulate me? Please? :)
  • You must have been really dirty to lose that much weight just by taking a shower. :)
  • This thread is becoming my shopping list. I wish. I struggle with salty snacks - chips, cheetos, etc.
  • I just get some peanuts in bulk and toss them into the vitamix blender. One minute later, I have peanut butter. One ingredient: Peanuts. And salt, if I get the salted peanuts. Making fresh peanut butter with honey roasted peanuts is also fantastic. Mix in some cashews or almonds for some more flavor. Good stuff.
  • Oooh, I could do for some tacos. I need to head out to a street taco truck or something for the really good stuff.
  • I work at home full time. 10 feet from me is my own full pantry and refrigerator. And yes, there's plenty of sugar and junk stuff in there too (I have a wife and kids, too). It's hard sometimes, for sure.
  • Meh, no big deal. I've been ugly for going on 35 years. I lost 60 pounds, and it turns out I'm still ugly. I've come to terms with it. :)
  • Cherries, too. More calories than they should have, but I could eat them all night long, especially when it's hot like this.
  • You wouldn't believe how close I was to joining WW. I absolutely hate spending money on myself (unless it's fun new electronics, I guess,,,), But I finally got even more sick of being fat, I guess. I confess (just here, not to my boss) that I blew through an entire morning at work one day just reading about WW, how it…
  • Yes!! And be sure to eat back those calories, too...
  • Here I am in our Christmas card for last year. Now, about 6 months and 58 pounds later, here we are again. (This is at the top of Multnumah Falls, Oregon, by the way. Yes, my little 4 year old buddy made the hike up that hill by himself, which is really something, for those of you who have done it.)
  • Thanks for the comments, all. Yeah, my kids get their looks from their mother, obviously. That's why they are all so cute.
  • http://www.kraftrecipes.com/cooking-tips/foodbasics/pastaguide/pasta-measuring-chart.aspx This might help.
