I understand the MS thing... I'm still trying to figure all of that out. I'm a teacher, so I'm in a bit of the same boat.

This exactly. I used to hate my body. Looking in the mirror made me cringe. I've learned that in order to really take care of myself, I have to love the body I've got. Why would I want to care for something I hate?

I was diagnosed with clinical depression back in January. I understand exactly what you are going through. My first piece of advice is to find a new doctor. Not all docs are created equal. I went to one that wasn't my normal PCP and he treated me like total crap because I'm fat. Surprisingly this is also the doc that…

Favorite companion is Donna! My Donna... She's brilliant! I guess of the 11 episodes Vincent and the Doctor is my favorite... I cried like a baby. I like Matt Smith, but CE and Tennant are still the best in my book. CE introduces you, you fall in love with Tennant, and Matt is your best friend.

Unicorn and the Wasp! Which means.... Tennant is my doctor.. He will always be my doctor.. I fangirl shrieked when I saw that he and Billie signed on for the 50th anniversary I rate sexiness on a scale of 1-Tennant

Pick out a cute outfit somewhere other than Lane Bryant Be able to wear heels or wedges Not get the awkward thigh chaffing Go to the pool in something other than a pair of basketball shorts and a tshirt

I have nothing productive to add... But I did want to say "Don't Blink. Blink and you're dead."

I can't remeber the doses: Ortho-tricyclin Prozac Walgreens Women's multivitamin for active women

Howdy! Where in Texas are you from?

I've heard good things about the Jawbone Up... I'm stuck between ordering it and waiting for the FitBit wrist band... What to do...

I'm going to hop on the C25K Train... A month ago, I wouldn't have ran if a zombie bear was chasing me. I would have just been eaten. Last night I finished Week 3 Day 1. Kicked my *kitten*, but it felt good. I would definitely look into something like the C25K app.. I use the Zen Labs one on my iPhone and love it.

I'm 23 5'6" and 269 lbs. When I started out I was your age and weight. You're more than welcome to add me for support :)

Speaking as a girl with DDDs, I'm pretty excited about the possibility of shrinkage...
-
Not that I want to admit it, but I'm definitely motivated by the idea of being sexy in my underwear

Most everyone I have is really supportive. If I say no thanks, typically people are pretty good about respecting my wishes. I did have a coworker offer me a sundae last week though... It was delicious. And it cured my ice cream craving for the month!

I have around 120 lbs to lose... I am set to do day 3 week 2 of C25K by Zen Labs tonight. I'm definitely noticing a difference in how my clothes fit and my stamina. I am getting fitted for a new pair of running shoes next month and I've learned that wrapping my ankles helps a ton. I never realized how weak my ankles were…

I'm still on mine and I just posted a gain for the first time (BOO!), but the biggest lesson I've learned is DON'T GIVE UP! I'm only human. I'm not Superwoman. Some days I will eat my emotions. Some days I will hurt physically and mentally. Some days I will have ultra crap-tastic workouts. Keep pushing. This isn't easy and…

Bump.. I have the same problem..

Thank you all! I'm so glad that it's not just me :)

Happy dance!! :drinker:

I will have to look into all of the suggestions!! Thank you ladies! For the curious I'm a 44 DDD at the moment. I'm squeezing into the XXLs from Academy, but the bounce hurts my back. I never thought about doubling up either! I may try that until I can order one. Here's hoping the ladies shrink as I lose more!

Ditto!

My "ah-ha" moment came in a conversation with one of my best friends. She had been tracking her meals on MFP because she wasn't eating enough for the muscle gain she wanted. We were eating Japanese food and talking about diets and her counting her calories, etc... I mentioned something about being unhappy with how I…

Who cares about speed!! You got it done!!! Congratulations!!

My family noticed around 20 lost... No one else has really said anything yet.

This may sound goofy, but I'm ok with only losing a pound a week! I was really stressed out when I saw the 7 pound drop. I just knew I had done something wrong. All my life I've heard that losing weight slowly helps you to keep it off and that weight lost quickly is gained back easily. I think I'm still under that mindset…

Daily routine: Wake up around 6:00am. Breakfast and out the door by 6:45. Work from 8:15ish to 4:30ish. Lunch either a 6' Subway with a ton of veggies or something packed (protien bars, string cheese, yogurt, carrots, granola bars, left overs, etc...). Usually I eat around noon. Lots of water throughout the day. Dinner…

Thanks all for the replies! I do have quite a bit of weight to lose. I started out at 290 and I would like to be in the 150s when all is said and done. I may change that goal once I get closer. I started off eating what I normally do, just smaller amounts. I cut a lot of my sugar down and I'm trying to reduce sodium. I…

Buy a 2 piece bathing suit and get a new tattoo! I really want a rib cage tat, but it won't look right with my excess chunk.

And grill some pineapple over the open flames. Screw the wagon.
