Did you just join MFP? I joined in November and find this is very good for me! I like to log my foods and I try to be dedicated during the week and I allow myself some treats on the weekends. I'm on here a lot during the day and I would be happy to be supportive!! And I can definitely understand the ups and downs!!

I've read other posts on this. I didn't use to eat my exercise calories back, but now I will eat some of them back. One person put it like this: If you take in 1200 calories and burn 600 calories, that only leaves your body with 600 calories for fuel to get you through the day. This thread is interesting. I always thought it was counterproductive to eat the calories you burn. I'm allotted 1320 calories and I burn around 400-500 a day through 45-60 minutes of exercise. I do eat the 1320 calories I'm allotted per day, but I generally do not eat the calories I burn. I primarily use them as a buffer…
