Why pass this up? If you truly believe we are designed to eat meat, why don't you refute the comments below? Copy and pasted my original post on here : I eat meat, however you are VERY wrong. I'll list the ways. 1. Vitamin B12 does not come from an animal source. It is ingested by the animal, so technically you are getting…

You can lead a donkey to water, but you can't make them drink. Some people will ALWAYS stay dumb despite scientific evidence out there. I bet you guy's don't even believe in evolution. Honestly, the evidence is there kids. According to science and biology, you're wrong. Doesn't matter what you or me "believe".

I'll pass you this link. I think you really don't understand... The point is that those companies DO pay and test the car seats, but you can't test the car seats and say they are the best if you don't test the alternative. You write this as if they were in a car seat, they would have lived. Try to open your mind for a few…

Surely you're not arguing about our diet being a major (if not the only significant) cause of lowering life expectancy. Or are you talking about the "mob". I believe it's much easier to get a grant to prove something in a big industry than it is to disprove it. I've tried it myself in the travel industry. It's an uphill…
-
That could be because funding it would be a major problem. Dairy industry is like the mob when it comes to advertising and marketing. Child car seats have been PROVEN to be no better than a normal seat belt after the age of 2 years, but no one in the industry will say so b/c their funding loss potential. Here is a Ted Talk…

We CAN drink alcohol too, but that doesn't mean it's good for us. We CAN eat poop, but we are getting second hand/ recycled nutrients that way too. Just because we can doesn't mean it's our best option.

So many people think that humans are "so unique" that we each need a different diet. It's preference, not need. VERY big difference. Much of our diets are the reason why we are so unhealthy. Only 3 animals in the world have a problem with obesity - Humans, cats & dogs. I can assure you that the only reason cats and dogs do…

You can believe in something, but it doesn't make it true or right. Our chemistry says that your vegetarian diet is what our bodies are designed for. If you read my post (and did the research to confirm from reputable sources) you'd see that we are not omnivores at all. Maybe if we keep it up, we'll evolve to that, but for…

As a woman, your nutrient needs are different than mine, yes. But why would you think that same sex individuals need different diets? It could very well be that some of those diets are causing problems, resulting in the need for different nutrient needs. It's getting late, and I'm getting too aggressive for this argument,…

I see the google search works well for you. The point is proven. However the science remains - we are not carnivores or omnivores naturally. It's not our "ideal diet". I don't know about you, but I do know that every human will defend their choices even if evidence shows their beliefs are wrong (at one point or another).…

So you're wrong. We can accept that, maybe you can't, but no need to attack. If you want to drink milk, go ahead. Do we need it? Not at all! Is it healthy for us? Not near as healthy as the milk industry would want you to believe. Will it hurt you? Only if you're LI. Is there better sources for the same nutrients? Of…

Here is what we share with herbivores that carnivores do not. - Our intestines - carnivores & omnivores 3-6 times body length, herbivores(and humans) 10-12 times their body length - Our saliva. Carnivores do not produce saliva to aid in digesting food - K9's. Our K9's are similar to other herbivores K9's, not carnivores…

I eat meat, however you are VERY wrong. I'll list the ways. 1. Vitamin B12 does not come from an animal source. It is ingested by the animal, so technically you are getting second hand B12. It actually comes from bacteria from dirt. The animals get it b/c they don't wash their food before eating them. B12 can also stay in…

mine is at night. I feel VERY hungry at night. I have have decided to add a meal (a veggie wrap) around 10pm to tie me over (I am up usually until 2am some nights. I plan on eventually trying to make that meal earlier, or smaller portion over time since I don't want to eat that late. I usually don't have a problem until…

This! Also 6pack bags are great! The I"m too busy to eat healthy is just a excuse. We all go through it, and it does involve more planning, but as long as you are serious about your weight loss, you'll make the effort! Good luck~
-
You let him get away with that? It wasn't the first and won't be his last time.
-
I'd start with removing all processed foods. If you can't do that, you won't be able to do any of these diets long term- and long term is the goal
-
Doesn't mean you wouldn't feel better on another type. I never knew how good you could feel, and thought the other feeling was normal, but once I cleaned the diet from processed, meats, and dairy, I felt so much better. Just b/c you did it for years, doesn't mean it's the healthiest for you. I personally think it's not…

Even high performance athletes need only .8 grams so I don't think it would be far off in those numbers. You do bring up a good point about the calorie deficit that I didn't think about, so maybe closer to the athlete range...

http://www.theiflife.com/how-much-protein-per-day-build-muscle/ I posted that link a few times today already.... 0.34 - 0.8 grams per LEAN body weight is all thats needed. the rest is **** out. You don't need a whole lot. Whey isn't the best protein source either. Try Genuine Health Vegan Proteins - pea, hemp, brown rice,…

Much grosser things! I'm going to have a chicken period right now. All this talk made me hungry!
-
I get it, you're not open minded, or realize how taste buds change when you stop eating meat, dairy, and/or processed foods.
-
see my post above. - Not a chicken abortion - it's a chicken period.
-
That is not an "abortion". it was never going to be a chick. What is more correct term would be a chicken's period. Gross, but thats what it is... As for the yolks, eat them. There are micronutrients that work together, not apart.

Chances are you are eating empty calories if you are still hungry. Open your diary. Also you may not know how to react to hunger... coffee may keep you awake, so decaf coffee/tea or water is great. I have spinach salads if I'm hungry. I found that usually it's my mind and not my belly. Need to break the habit!

Read this too: http://www.theiflife.com/how-much-protein-per-day-build-muscle/ The NSCA says you need just 0.34g of protein per lb. to sustain. So I don't think that is the issue at all. Not enough protein is usually never the problem. Edit - just looked at your diary. I take it back. You need to up your protein! lol. It…

Sugar tracking seemed to help for many people on here. Also - limit your grain intake. The grains we eat today have been modified - Which is why when I have pasta, it has to be from italy where they are not modified apparently. Use a tiny amount of iodized salt as well - which may help with your hypothyroidism. Don't give…

remove dairy for two weeks and see what happens. If you're doing weights, you might be gaining weight but losing fat. Measure your body instead of weighing yourself.
-
I have been doing plenty of research on this, and it now seems that many studies are supporting this, and that the meat/dairy & supplement industry have been grossly over-estimating the amount of protein needed daily. Even the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) - an association which gets sponsorships…

It's hard to find good nutritional advice anywhere without diving into the sea of useless info. For every study, there are two to contradict it. Protein seems to be the biggest thing among trainers to misinform people about. I have been doing plenty of research on this, and it now seems that many studies are supporting…
