Challenge accepted!

4lbs so far. I can see my collarbones coming out and could feel a difference when my boyfriend was cuddling me last night.
-
tried to fix it and failed :(

This is so reassuring. I'm in a similar boat to OP- I eat 1400 a day, recently increased the intensity on my workouts after surgery 5 weeks ago, try to eat back at least half of my exercise calories. I stayed at the same weight for 3 days, now I'm 4lbs up. It has to be water, right? There's other other logical explanation,…

You're the one demonstrating in the video? No matter, I'll have one of each of you please. :p Nice form indeed ;)

I try to eat something "carby" around an hour before I go running, and then something "proteiny" within the hour after. If I eat dairy before running I get bad cramps. Try slowing to a walking and breathing in through your nose, out through your mouth with your arms above your head.

Do you have a local running specialty store? They frequently have community running groups or boards where people can find an appropriate partner for skill and schedule.

WTF is a lunk alarm?
-
HAHAHAHAHA Sorry you lost your running pal, but the image of a pit pulling a grown man on a skateboard is too good. My neighbor used to do this with his German shepherd and razor scooter.
-
Some good ideas here, thank you all! He's a year and a half. I didn't start running with him until recently to let his joints mature and prevent injury. I live in a downtown apartment, so runs and the dog park are his main forms of exercise. I want to keep him fit, too! I have a friend with two dogs that weigh twice as…

He does well if I give him a little tug and a "Cooper, come on" and I only break stride about half the time, but I just want him to learn that running=not stopping and walking=stop and smell the roses/other dog piss. Breed: 75% black lab, 25% beagle.

In!

I'm jealous you're keeping your boobs!! You look FANTASTIC

Try some ginger tea for your sinuses. Maybe 10-15 minutes of light yoga would help open up your airways and make you feel like you did something, even it if wasn't strenuous. If you really feel like crap though, just sleep it out of your system. As far as the rest goes, well no one said it would always be easy or fun. But…

It sounds like you don't do much in terms of exercise right now, so I think cardio 5x and weights 3x would be considered beast mode. Remember, you don't want to get hurt overdoing it. Take them up on that trainer and do lots of research for your specific fitness goals. Does your gym have a pool? That can be a great cardio…

Hang out with

Week 3, 5 lbs down, I can see it in my face. I'm also getting more muscular and can see well defined collarbones.
-
Lucy it took until days 3 and 4 for me until I was really sore, now that's eased by day 6.
-
My diary is open and you will find little processed foods in it, if that's what you are looking for.
-
Is it possible he just doesn't see a drastic change because he sees you every day? I've lost quite a bit of weight before MFP and my bf has said nothing about it, but was saying stuff during BL last night
-
This is what I do and it works!!!
-
There are lots of good body weight strength training videos on YouTube. I'm doing the 30 Day Shred right now, and have done some Vinyasa yoga as well.
-
I am disappointed if I am not in pain following an intense workout. DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) means it is working. If I'm not sore after the shred the I didn't push myself all the way. Put it in perspective. Are some days of intense soreness worth losing the inches to you? It's just one month.
-
I like to do vinyasa (flow) yoga. You can find some 20-30 minute workouts on YouTube. You get a good stretch in too, and it is very relaxing and grounding.
-
I was inactive for a long time and started walk-jog-walk-jog every day for 30 minutes at my own pace without being uncomfortable for a couple weeks just tot get my body and joints used to moving and working like that. Unfortunately that was disrupted by surgery on Christmas, and when I got the okay from the surgeon, I…

I'll take inches over weight, and I definitely notice a difference in my strength and it's carried over to more endurance in my runs. I've watched the scale go up 6, and now it's dropped by 2. I was hoping the shred would push me into Onederland. Oh, well, today is only day 6.
-
Why it it unrealistic or unhealthy? ~2lbs a week is usually still considered a good weigh loss goal when it's done right and not through starvation.
-
1kg=2.2046 lbs. Very realistic goal but it won't be easy. Make sure you aren't eating too little! That can slow things up. If you make a 1000 calorie deficit through exercise and changing your eating habits, you should reach that! Edit: you really should read some other topics on here about the right amount to eat for your…

Check out your thighs! I definitely see it there and your face!! You're doing an excellent job!
