Well done!! Just wanted to add, I had both knees replaced, separately, 3 years ago when I was 40 (severe arthritis). Although I can't lie and tell you they were pleasant experiences, it was SO worth it.

Not so much for the weight loss but for budgeting, you can bulk mince meals out with porridge oats (oatmeal) and/or red lentils. I can identify exactly with what you're saying. What is helping me at the moment is developing an attitude of mindfulness where I really think about my actions and make conscious decisions.
