Personally the biggest difference is that I hate the taste of sweet potato. I try them every now and then as I feel I should like them, but they end up in the dog's bowl. Where as I love white potato. Roast, mashed, baked, saute, wedges with seas salt, olive oil and rosemary. Chips with salt and oodles of vinegar & tomato…

What's happening to you is emotional abuse. It isn't right, it isn't fair but above all it isn't your fault. And don't wait until your 40's before you cut them out of your life.

Are you able to go swimming?

I record everything. Some fruits especially are quite calorific - look at avocados!!

My two favourite fish recipes are Mediterranean Fish Stew http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/711649/mediterranean-fish-stew-with-garlic-toasts and Super Healthy Salmon Burgers http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/7712/superhealthy-salmon-burgers Both pretty easy to make. Both a little spicy, but you could leave the chili out…

I'm aiming for a 60lb loss. I've done it before but injury and a change in circumstance led to slipping and I've gained everything and more back. So if anyone wants to add me, please do.

Neil, love you to bits. You have been an inspiration. And you know I;ve been having problems with maintaining let alone losing recently - I gained 7lb in all, 5 over two weeks. I was so pleased when I lost two of those pounds but felt like I didn't deserve praise. What did you say to me? A drop is a drop - don't knock it.…

I feel left out - I don't have one :(

As long as she is healthy, a three year old Pit should be able to pace you at any level - as long as you let her build up. If she has only had sedentry walks it might take a little time. She doesn't have the psychological impetus you may have!! She may also be getting bored - does she like playing ball? If so, take a ball…

I used to drink most evenings. The first thing I did - before even looking at my calorie intake - was to quit drinking. And aside from quitting smoking, it was probably the best thing I did. I now do have the occational, social drink. Had a fair few on holiday!! But I don't have it every day, don't have it to wind down or…

I would be interested in any replies. I haven't been able to do any strength training for mearly four weeks due to a holiday and a foot injury. I did very little cardio either (a little swimming, walking and horse riding) and ate at probably at maintenace level. But when I got to the gym, I was able to lift heavier than…

Mine was a little Nepalise lady. Other ladies didn't seem to be in pain so maybe I have a low pain thresh-hold:blushing: But the end result was so good I don't think I'd use anybody else - what if it hurts just as much and looks pants? Micro-Dermabrasion - I wanted that!!!! Now, not so much:laugh:
-
 Yep it hurt - not sure there is a pain free way to rip out excess eyebrow hair!! I'd forgotten waxing:noway:

Hot, hot hot. If the hairline is receding, keep it close cropped or shaved. I prefer close cropped, but not by much. If you can throw in some good facial hair - NOT Ming the Merciless - it really works. Of course, a smile and bags of confidence sets it off perfectly.

Unless you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant there isn't a huge risk. But you might want to try Mackeral, salmon or sardines as a tinned alternative and trout or salmon as a fresh alternative. (Mackeral and sardines are fantastic fresh but the bones can be a nightmare). They are all oily fish like Tuna with all the…

Chicken dippers - cut chicken into strips, season and flour, shallow fry in a low cal oil Chicken, rice and peas - put rice on to cook with chicken or veg stock cube, cut chicken into strips and sear in pan then add to rice. Cook for 15 minutes then add frozen peas. Cook for further 5 minutes. Or there is chicken stir fry,…

With 4 weeks to go, perhaps 30 day shred? It combines cardio, strength training and ab work. You aren't going to (healthily) loose a lot of weight in 4 weeks but you can certainly drop a few pounds safely, lose some inches and tone the supporting muscles. Get that bikini out & put it where you will see it every day - mine…
