  • THIS!!! I wake up at 4:45am and at the gym at 5am. Everyone in my house is still asleep when I get home from the gym so that's my hour that I only have to focus on myself before starting the day right. My husband is going to be changing his work hours and will need to go in at 6. I don't know if I have it in me to get up…
  • My husband and I are starting today! This is all very new to me since I'm a cardio junkie.
  • I'm starting today.
  • Day 3 - Food yesterday was good (chicken gyro was so yummy) but I was so hungry. I am just getting over AF so thats possible the reason but I ended up eating 2 cookies grrr Work food is all consumed and dinner is planned. Venison steak with onions and mushrooms and part of a sweet potato. Work out is done for the day. I…
  • Yes on my long runs I will weigh myself afterwards so that I know how much weight I lost so I can calculation how much hydration/sodium I need to replenish what I lost. I only record the weight I am first thing in the morning nude before my shower.
  • Day 2: All food for work is prepped and ready. Dinner is planned and in the fridge marinating. Grilled Greek chicken with Greek yogurt (1R) on a whole grain pita (1Y) with tomatoes and cucumbers (1/2G), crumbled feta (1B) and grilled asparagus on the side (1G). Day 1: Walked to and from the gym and warmed up/cooled down…
  • @SatiaRenee Yes I agree! Also saved on the grocery bill a little too and so nice to already know what's for supper (that way hubby can start cooking before I get off work too). I have a half marathon on 4/19 and then a 5K on the night of 6/5 and a half marathon the next morning on 6/6, then a full marathon on 9/12. I am…
  • I have the next week planned and pre-logged. Will keep me on track and save $$$ at the grocery store only buying foods that are planned. Dinner was my downfall as I would eat good all day and then when I got him it was what are we going to eat and grab the easiest thing.
  • I started today! Food prep on Saturday got me excited that I can do this and I think as long as I prep the weeks food on the weekend all will be golden. I won't be doing the DVD's though as I am training for multiple races ATM.
  • Hey guys! Day 1 here, I prepped on Saturday and I think as long as I can get a couple hours over the weekend to prep I think I totally can do this! Planning weekend meals is and will always be a challenge for me with the husband and picky boys (along with camping). I think as long as I have portioned fruits and veggies for…
  • I am planning on starting on Monday the 6th as well but I will not be following the workouts as I am training for multiple races and will be doing my own workouts.
  • What/how did you do to correct it? I need help! Good job though Woo Hoo!
  • When I originally lost 40lbs I did so with ramen, canned soup etc. You can eat "whatever" just within your calorie goal. A couple tips though that wont break you. Pick one thing to eat and buy in bulk. Like this week breakfast is fresh blueberries, blackberries and greek yogurt. I bought 1 pack each of the berries and a…
  • In 2 weeks I will be on the beach in Mexico! Been working on it since October but not much luck. Finally taking carbs down and produce up and seeing small changes. I am an advocate for carbs so this is hard for me. (I still think carbs are good for you!) But I think my body needed this shock. I'm going to rock a 2 piece no…
  • Also in this boat! I live in Council Bluffs, work in Bellevue!!!! I buy the most of my fresh stuff at Aldi's when in season but frozen is good for veggies.
  • I would pre log for that day as well using the barcode and then you can make adjustments for the actual day when it gets there.
  • I too am a runner. I ran my first marathon in September so during training I didn't really track my food I ate when I was hungry as I was more focused on my training and not weight loss. Training and weight loss for me do not agree. During training but especially after my marathon I gained almost 10lbs. My body has gotten…
  • Wow what a change! You look so good! Congratulations.
  • Ours is normally at noon so we eat a light breakfast (cereal) and then eat way too much for lunch we don't need supper
  • I ran my 1st full last month and the longest I had ever ran before that was 14 miles and that was several months before. I was super slow but just go and have fun! I am hooked now!
  • Wow! You are amazing and brought tears to my eyes. Keep on living you got this down!
  • I work at a desk and I try to take my breaks and go for a walk. Not enough to break a sweat but enough to get moving. When you go to the bathroom do 5 squats in the stall, waiting for the microwave - do calf raises. Break simple moves up and do them throughout the day. I too am finding it hard to get in a workout since I…
  • Several reviews for these I will have to check them out.
  • I actually got these! Found them on a whim at JCP on clearance for $20.99! Whoot! Question on why I need them. I run with loose fitting shorts with a liner mostly on shorter runs and they are fine but after around 8-10 miles my thighs start rubbing and chaff too much esp when I am sweating alot. I could care less to cover…
  • WOW! I shed a few tears for you, you are an inspiration. You go girl, no stopping you now.
  • Agave is a sweetener I believe it's like honey and I think honey could be used in place as well.
  • I have the same fear and concern about my marathon training. I cap out at 20 miles and it is very hard for me to wrap my head around having to run 6 more miles and never have ran that before. I am a total girl where I have to run or at least complete that distance once but I think I am going to have to throw that out the…
  • Thanks! Im lucky I guess my normal runs have gains barely hitting 30ft at the most. Hence why I have no training for anything above that and "hills" or what I call hills scare me :)
  • LOL should clarify since yes Iowa is kinda hilly. I live by the Missouri River next to Nebraska/work in Nebraska.
