Caffeine withdrawal is nasty. When I quit, the first day is ok but on the third day I get cravings and sometimes a headache. Then I'm good. Yes, I do fall off the wagon. I like coffee and drink it black, no sugar. Only had one today though!

I think it's a matter of personal preference. My KB's are official RKB's and I'm very happy with them. A friend uses these as well as another brand which have better ergonomics for him. I've tried them and can't recall which brand but I did like them. You can always send them back if you don't like them.

Nuts and seeds are good for calories. They also have protein and the good kind of fats. The best way to eat them is raw non-salted.

Not sure. I do use MSM for joint pain but not regularly and with no noticeable side effects. Thanks for posting and I'll let you know if anything happens. Have taken as much as 5,000 mg. and use Solgar brand.

If I get on the scale, then someone hands me 6 oz. (0.375 lb) of anything, the scale goes up by 6 oz. whether it's a snack cake, rock, wood or an apple, the scale can't go up more that that.

You can only gain the amount of weight that the food weighs. If a snack cake weighs 6 oz. then that's all you'll gain from eating it. It's scientifically and mathematically impossible.

My diet is plant-based so all my calories come from fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, etc. Therefore I do count those calories.
