  • Just as an update I've been eating 1500 now for a week and weighed in this morning for the first time - 1.75 pound loss - first loss for a long time! BOOM! Thanks for the advice everyone! 1500 it is!
  • Having done weight watchers myself the only difference I've found is that points can take into account whether a food is good for you or not, not JUST what calories it contains... so whilst you could maintain a calorie deficit on MFP by eating three slices of 500 caloris cake a day, ww wouldn't allow you to accomodate this…

  • @AngelAmberL - Ah, I see, I didn't realise you took into account extra exercise - I was just thinking of my job! So if I stick with the BMR figure I've got I can still add the exercise into MFP - I like to as it keeps me on track and keeps a record and then if I don't manage a session my calorie allowance reflects it.
