I eat all that others have mentioned but I also like paleo pancakes made with almond flour. Today I made spinach pancakes I adapted from other pancake recipies along with liversausage and tomatoes. Yum!

My husband makes fun of me but years of experience has taught me that as soon as I get up in the morning and go to the bathroom I weigh myself. That is always my lightest weight and eliminates the possible variables. That's my opinion. How about you? What do you think? :smile:

Hi! I have Celiac Disease and must avoid gluten. But since November I have been eating mostly Paleo and I've NEVER felt so good. Weight is coming off easily and I'm always finding new recipes in Paleo cookbooks I find on my kindle. Feel free to friend me if this is helpful.

In our area the Amish grocery stores usually have Coconut Oil (they are somewhat oriented towards healthy eating). I can get a gallon of it for $16 US here in Wisconsin (and Iowa).

Your experience is exactly the same as mine. Once I quit eating any foods with sugar or sugar subsittute of any kind I literally do not feel hungry - ever! I don't need snacks, I eat pure, bare naked foods, no artificial ingredients and I am satisfied. It works for me.

I grew up having mashed up avocado spread on bread with a little salt. Yum! Just scoop it out of shell and use a fork to mash it up. I had the same problem; nothing worked no matter how hard I tried - until I cut out ALL SUGARS, ALL GRAIN OF ANY KIND. I eat only lean meats, veggies - not starch, berries, nuts, dark chocolate once in a blue moon as a treat. The weight is is steadily coming off.(I lost about 15 lbs before I joined MFP.) I agree. I've turned to almond flour to my diet and am very satisfied with the pancakes, etc I can eat on my Paleo diet. I've found Paleo Cookbooks are necessary for me to get in the paleo mindset. Wish I could find an affordable almond flour though.

Your body needs some fat in order to process calories. Just eat in moderation! But also my experience is that if you CRAVE something; you might be allergic to it. Just a thought.
