"Fifty Shades Of Yoga" will be an elegant, high end photography coffee table book that unites the worlds of yoga and bondage in a beautiful, sensual and playful way. Haunting and exquisite yoga photographs will take the voyeur on a seductive journey, examining the elements of sexuality, servitude, control and the lack…

Thank you for being one of the few men out there who doesn't just objectify a woman...You are a rare gem! It shouldn't but it still shocks me how many women objectify themselves...it is like they have 'walking vagina' stamped on their forehead.

Hmmmm...I live in Hawaii and still haven't tried that one:) I wonder if my hubby would go for that;)

No amount of brawn can compensate for lack of intelligence in a man or woman...the original poster of this thread has much to be desired. I only speak the truth.

By the way, I think all of this angry defensive attitude from some is born out of insecurity. To become so defensive over something that is obviously true, is a lack of knowledge and understanding of how the body works and what is best to keep it functioning healthily. If all you need is 1200 calories, that is fine, but if…

I generally eat in between 1200-1500 calories, but never starve myself...For me it is much about disciplining my body to not need to comfort eat. I understand why you bring this to the forefront. There are way too many young, girls especially, who feel this need to starve their pounds away. My daughter has a habit of doing…

I weigh-in officially every week and a half as it usually takes that long for lost pounds to register with me. But I mainly gauge by inches lost and how my clothes fit. The scale will always be a fickle lover. Gauge how you feel each week, energy level and such. There is nothing more rewarding than feeling good about…

OMG, I love this! What a great example of friendship! We don't always handpick our friends...It just kind of happens I think. You can't expect others to make the first move...be original...get out there and show your enthusiasm for fitness and life and people will draw to it like a moth to a flame:) I am meeting and…

I was running 3 miles a day and strength training hardcore when I was a size 10 and looked fantastic in my opinion. I'd give my right arm to be a size 10 again...I will at some point and hopefully I can keep my right arm in the process;) I remember how nice it was to not shop in the plus size department anymore.

I'm 44 and sooooo understand the slow metabolism. I have been at this for over a month now with aches and pains that would stop a healthy man in his tracks, but my fortitude is what has kept me on track. I am determined to spend my latter years in the best possible health. My greatest nemesis is fibromyalgia, I am fighting…

If you want to lose weight and you are doing a massive amount of cardio, your weight will eventually plateau and you may find yourself not losing weight...the body eventually adjusts to the cardio and will continue to store fat...that is why resistance training is so essential. It jolts the metabolism into overdrive.…

Unfortunately it is often the people closest to us that are the most non-supportive and frankly insensitive. To eat that kind of food around you is considered the worst lack of support. They just do not understand the struggle you are waging with yourself on a moment to moment basis. Being here at MFP is a wonderful step…

Love your first paragraph! That is the key really...goals have to be about much more than weight loss..thank you for sharing that!
