There is cardio involved too, i have just started Jillians yoga meltdown in the evenings though (alongside ripped in 30) and i love it! Might be a good one for you to try while you're healing? x x

Sorry for my late reply, i hope you see this! I started out at 10 stone, and i'm now 9 stone 12lbs, so i have only lost 2lbs and this even fluctuates sometimes! I didn't measure myself so can't give you those results sadly. xx

Thanks so much everyone! Kit, i followed a DVD by Jillian Michaels called the 30 day shred, it is on youtube also. There are 3 different levels and you do each level for 10 days. I also started eating clean, around 1400 cals a day, eating back the calories i burned during exercise. Hope that helps.x

I use 1.5kg dumbells, i think these are slightly lighter than they use in the video but worked well for me as a beginner. I haven't actually lost much weight at all, i weighed 10 stone at the start and weigh 9 stone 12lbs now, so i am just ignoring the scales and going by pictures :) xx

You can do it! I have friends doing it and some of them take rest days to help get over the aching a bit, i found a hot bath after working out helped a bit too, best of luck hun x

I would recommend it to anyone, i feel so much better in myself and have noticed other benefits like having more energy- i find it so much easier to get up in the morning, i can set an alarm for 7am and hop right out of bed! I actually think level 3 was my favourite level, it seemed to go much quicker than the other two, lots of plank moves and things but it felt like there was less cardio! Level 2 wasn't too bad, a bit of a shock from level 1 though! x

Okay, my first time adding photos so i hope this works okay. My daughter is 2 now, but i only started trying to get fit at the beginning of January.. This is a few days before giving birth.. 3 days after birth.. And today, 22 days into the 30 day shred.. Best of luck with your journey x x
