If you really want to make a change, I would simply try and change the type of carbs that you eat so, for example, switching replacing white bread, rice etc. with whole grains. Like the others said, you have done so well already and there's no need to make any radical changes to lose more.

Thanks everyone, I'll have a read at those posts you mentioned, much appreciated.

Different scales vary so much so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I even found that my scales give a different number depending on where I put them (carpet/tiles). If your clothes are baggier then you've definitely made good progress!

Thank you! I've read a lot about going below a certain level of calories and therefore damaging your body but can't really see the point in eating if I'm not really hungry. All it takes for me to gain 2lbs is to eat certain food, chickpeas for example. Give it time! You don't love 2lbs in 2 days and you certainly don't gain that amount in 2 days if you're sticking to 1300 calories

Rather than a full day, I sometimes have a "Cheat Meal"...So I'll stick to my plan for the whole day and then treat myself with a meal I fancy for ages. I find it helps me stick to the diet in the long term, but as long as that meal doesn't turn into a day, then 2 days, etc...

Any brides to be at all?

Hey, thanks!! No - I'm not cutting them out completely but trying to make wiser choices so fruit instead of buttered toast for breakfast, wholemeal pasta instead of white rice etc. I just need to keep it up and stop being a couch potato ;)
