Don't make me fill out a HRF. Hurt Feelings Report http://i667.photobucket.com/albums/vv37/punkrockHR/hurt-feelings-report.jpg

All you can do is actually use the gym to prove it won't be a waste of money. Actions speak louder than words, right?
-
Eat moar. Try bumping it up to over your BMR. The BMR number is the amount of calories required to keep the body functioning. You will need more calories than that to have energy for your running.
-
What are your macronutrient ratios set at?

Boys can be shy.

I'm 5'10" and my goal is to kick *kitten*. I'm starting to find that I'm caring less and less about the number of the scale cuz it's doesn't reflect my body composition (BF%) and no one else knows what that number is when they look at me, so what was does it really matter? My other goal is to fit back into some of the…

Secretly compete with her and then present her with your old jeans when they don't fit you anymore. haha!

The 'don't eat after 6 or 7 or 8' thing has more to do with eating too many calories for the day than the timing of the calories. If not eating after 8 works for you, then do that. If eating after 8 works for you, then do that.

Ya, what he said. Are you sure you're running at the same speed? Are you using something to confirm this? Try running slower. Not every run need to be a speed workout. Plus, when you run outside, you use your feet muscles more as you are actually launching yourself forward. Plus, there's the wind resistance. And the hills.

To reduce sugar, get more of your calories from protein and fat. No, I am not advocating a low-carb lifestyle.
-
Eat more fibre. Drink more water.
-
Eat somewhere between BMR and TDEE; not below your BMR.
-
Ya, what Frosty said. Your weight is already very reasonable for your height. Now, I think it would be time to focus on body composition and BF% instead of just a number on the scale.
-
It depends. How long have you been running? Why are you running? Are you training for something? How are you structuring your running plan - running all out every day (don't do this) or different paces for different days (long slow run on Sundays, speed work on Tuesday, easy run on Thursday?) How are your shoes?

Yes! I'm up 2.6 lbs from a week ago. Usually disappears in a few days.

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/88-triathletes-duathletes Sprint triathlons are a gateway drug.

Tomorrow is a fresh start. Sometimes, you just have to satify a craving but don't let it get to you.
-
Yes, lighter is faster but I was speaking from personal experience. I did sprints, olympics, HIM and IM without any circuit or strength training. I found that the winter weight would start melting off as soon as I started biking outside in spring. Maybe I would have been faster with strength training. This year, I am doing…

Why does it make my mouth go numb?
-
No! Relax and move on from this. If this is a one time thing: no big deal! If it becomes a habit, then it might become a problem.

I red on Internets that man git pragnet and form babby. Frigt the babby alot.

Even if you cross the finish line last, you have not failed. When I first started running and doing triathlons, I would sometimes finish last. Keep at it and eventually you will get faster. Remember: DFL>DNF>DNS (Dead ****ing Last is better than Did Not Finish, which is better than Did Not Start.)

Run it. You've already proven that you can cover the distance. I have run about a dozen half marathons and the way you feel now is the way that I felt after my first one. They get easier after this, provided you are doing the training. Eat something. Drink water. Get up and move around every hour. You might feel even more…

Are you pregnant?

You could try alternating alcohol drinks with a glass of water. Arrive a bit late. Delay when you start eating. (I find it easier to delay starting eating appies than stopping after I've had a couple of drinks, thusly having at least an illusion of control.)
-
Congratulations! That's a great benchmark time to set. Happy running!

My motivation to workout is that it helps me stay awesome.

I would add in: Swimming Biking Running

Using rollers will help you improve your cycling as it forces you to keep pedaling or you'll fall over!

I did Ironman Canada in 2008. I had the time of my life but I really haven't done anything since. This year, I plan on doing a sprint as it's been 6 years since I've done one and it'll be a good place to restart. If I can't sell my tri bike, I may have to do a long distance tri again!
