Do you belong to a gym? Can you join a group fitness class? A way for others to keep you accountable even when you feel you can't? I find disappointing myself to be bad but disappointing others to be horrible... Good luck in your journey! You WILL persevere!

I used to snore like a freight train but after losing weight, I am a silent sleeper. I would put money down that I was borderline on sleep apnea. Thanks for sharing this! You look GREAT, btw!

I'm loving Dark Side by Kelly Clarkson off of Stronger.

I've done it either on my own or in classes 2-3 times per week and have had great success. Any interval training where you push yourself really hard is beneficial, in my opinion.

That's actually the BEST kind! You know the kid is telling the truth!

Yeppers! Fats are OK... in moderation. The idea is basically to eat "right"

Isn't that just one of the greatest victories EVER!??! While I certainly don't love running... I CAN DO IT! Congrats!!!!!! Keep up the great progress!

Everything is bad for you if you look at it hard enough. While I've cut out the processed stuff (diet soda being a big one), I totally agree with eating what you like and fitting it into your calories... heck, sometimes treating yourself and going over on calories is truly therapeutic! But AMEN!
-
Eat wisely but it IS OK to treat yourself sometimes. Try not to go for the fat fried in fat, but enjoy your birthday!

Well put!

Papa Murphy's Take & Bake has a Delite pizza that is DELICIOUS. If you have one around, have a couple pieces of that. Otherwise, I recommend just eating a couple slices and moving on. Sometimes you just have to eat.

It's very possible it is the sodium content in what you are eating. I see quite a bit that would indicate a fairly high sodium content. Try tracking it and bringing it down. It will likely require eliminating processed or prepared food, but will probably help a great deal. Don't get discouraged! You've made great progress…

You're right 800m is approximately 1/2 mile.

Super Hula should be more of a core activity than a lower back one. Concentrate on moving from your belly button and hips. Your back should almost never hurt if exercises are done correctly. Ibuprofen helps with inflammation, but the reason your back was hurting is so you will remember that you "injured" it - just don't…

What is the name of the movie so I can find it on Netflix?

Cook ahead. I cook up 3 or 4 chicken breasts and save some for salads or whatever. Take protein/meal replacement bars with you everywhere. Find places that have lower cal/fat options that you can grab a bit like Subway (I know, not the best but when given the worst options -it's not so bad). I work full time and go to…

This is the one I do. No excuses for going back to the old ways!

I listen to everything from Buckcherry to Linkin Park to LMFAO to Britney Spears... Some I like for the beat, some I like for the energy in the music, some I like for the message.

SHOULD everyone be able to run a mile? Yeah, probably. CAN everyone? NO! I couldn't run up the stairs without getting winded when I started out in the Spring. Fitness takes time. I can run 3 miles now - probably more but I hate running so I get bored and stop. Start small - C25K is good... it coaches you through a…

Wow. Some people's ignorance astounds me. Your uterus will be fine. Throw the 2-4lb weights at her head and get the bigger ones! I use anything from a 9lb bar to 350lbs for leg presses. The key is using the right muscles and form.

That video was pretty darn cool. It inspired me to see what I can do for the power squats. I just did drop-downs with my trainer yesterday (I'm cursing his name a little today)... 350 for 10 reps then 300 for 15 reps then 250 for 20 reps x 3 sets. My legs and glutes are seriously angry today, but it was fun. I…
