I am training for an 8k. Today was week 2 and we did 2 miles. My Cardio trainer app shows that I ran at a 5mph pace. I am pleased with that pace as it included traffic. I ran 1.6miles on Thursday at a 5.5mph pace in a park. I had a partner much faster than me. I think this really helped my pace.

My goal is to reduce my body fat. Right now I weigh 145 with a 31.5% body fat. I want to get that to a healthier under 25% range. I plan to measure every 4 weeks to track results.

My mother is doing the Daniel Fast! I'm not doing the Daniel Fast but I have only eaten fruits and veggies since the first. I have not felt this good in a long time. I believe its the lack of gluten in my diet. I also eat edamame which is a great source of protein.

If you want to clean your system eat a lot of veggies. I'm talking more than the recommended 5 a day. That fiber will definitely clean you out!
