I love this <3 And it's so true!!! I think using the scale as a general "tool" is okay.. but in my experience, I get WAY too obsessed with it!!
-
That's what I use.. but it's always been off by about 3-5 lbs! Eeeek! But my floor surface isn't completely hard, so that's probably why.

Exactly what I was thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me: Do you want some fries with that shake? My best friend: OH SNAP

I've never heard of them, but I'm super excited to have heard of them now!!!!!!!!!!! Woot woot, the search begins!!

I went through this not long ago. I've been in maintenance mode for about 6 weeks. I was SO paranoid that I was going to suddenly get fat again if I didn't stay around 1200 calories! But trust me.. your body will adjust. What I do is this: I set my calories to about 50 less than what MFP says I would need to maintain. This…

I completely agree! I think there is a difference in using it for a healthier lifestyle and using it to "diet." But I'm 23, and I have friends my own age doing it for the wrong reasons.

I have a six year old daughter and I signed her up for tball this year hoping it would spark her "innter softball player." Nope.. she complained about not wanting to go every single game! UGH She LOVES cheerleading and gymnastics. I'm glad she's active.. but I have no idea how to raise a cheerleader!! lol Go figure!

Yeppers!! My mom played basketball and softball.. hence she drove me all over the country for tournaments! My husband's mother FORCED him to play basketball. She would tell him they were going to McDonald's for ice cream, and instead would take him to a free-throw shooting contest... Seriously. And it stuck. He is 31 and…

I thought being tired after a workout was normal! Personally, I feel like if I'm not exhausted after a workout, then I didn't push myself hard enough. So... I googled it, and here is something I found that may help!! http://www.livestrong.com/article/282831-how-do-i-overcome-tiredness-from-workouts/

While I LOVE Jayma Mays on Glee, I wouldn't want to be that tiny. I think it works for her role on that show, but otherwise... :ohwell: As for me.... I'd love to look like Allison Stokke!!…

My fingers! I know that sounds crazy.. but when I got married I kept thinking, "I should really get my ring resized a little bigger." But now, I need it smaller! My fingers are so little now!! Also my legs.. my thighs don't touch anymore :drinker:

I use Bio Oil every morning after I get out of the shower, and it's helped a lot! But they're still there and I hate them! I've heard Celtrixa is amazing, but I've never used it; it's pretty expensive!
-
Agreed! Just eat regular meals.. don't worry about trying to force down breakfast and lunch at one time

Don't just use MFP as a guide.. LOG LOG LOG. Personally, I suck at estimating and doing it on my own. If I don't log for a day, then I go over probably by 300-400 calories. That adds up FAST. So log your food and don't give up.

Wow.. I admire you.. I could NOT have said no!!

My super smokin' hot sister-in-law emailed me this morning asking what size athletic shorts I wear. She said, "I am guessing you're probably an extra small because I'm a size small." I was like WHAT? You think I'm smaller than you!?!?!?!?

People often think I'm younger or older than I really am, depeding on the situation. I'm 23. At work, people think I'm a freshman in college (I work in the library) With my kids, they think I'm at least 26 or 27 (my oldest daughter is 6. I don't usually tell people she isn't biologically mine) People think I'm a city girl.…

The ability to change the TV channels with my mind, seeing as we never can find the remote. That's all! And the ability to have awesome abs without doing anything and magically get rid of stretch marks!!

You just get cooler and cooler to me! lol I am NOT photogenic at all. My mother-in-law take the best "awful" pics of me and then puts them on Facebook. I have to all her and say, "Take those terrible pics down IMMEDIATELY!" haha It's frightening how ugly I am in some photos. The ones I have posted of me on here are the few…

I have a 17 pound baby that I used as a weight!! LOL I hold him and do squats, lunges, and throw him up in the air until my arms burn. Not only has it helped firm some areas.. but he's laughing the entire time!
-
I don't plan rest days... :noway: hehe When my body feels tired, I take a break. But I plan other things, like going grocery shopping or playing with the kids. It's not strenuous, but it keeps me moving. I think about it constantly too.. you're not alone

3rd time's the charm!!!

I'm glad you cleared that up... I shave my legs, my husband shaves his head. We're even.
