So awesome. My husband Doug (he's on my profile) is in recovery - 16 months sober and your post reminded me of him. I'm glad that today you found another way to deal with your frustrations and stresses. Brandy

2000 BMW 325 - can't wait to get rid of it. Hubby bought and special ordered it brand spankin' new, but that was forever ago and it's time for it to go to the 16yr old.

I LOVE FFH on Western, but when I stopped using it as often, I downgraded to Fitness 19 on Western. I told myself if I work out every day in March, I'll get myself a FFH membership again... so far I've worked out every day in March, so we'll see!

I credit my longest (14yr) relationship to FUN. We call that fun SHMILY. We wrote it everywhere. In the steamed up shower door, in chalk in the driveway, on the dust on the dashboard, in each others underwear with a marker. I vacuumed it into the carpet once and he mowed it into the lawn. See How Much I Love You Find…

Thank you so much everyone -- and thanks exceptionally for the help with the pictures -- I'm all old skool with my text book HTML - haha. To answer the questions - I'm 5'4 -- in the after pictures, I'm standing next to my 5'5 teenager - she outgrew me quickly! I hit the gym about 4 times a week and do only 30 or 40 minutes…

I loved watching it, but I'm starting to hate it because of Michelle. That woman is loco!
-
Maybe that's it Birdie, maybe it's just that I never sweated much before this, coupled with the dry skin - whatever it was, it was sick, and now I don't want to work out again - (haha just kidding) so both comments were prob right on!
-
haha. Yes, apparently some dry skin to it - but at 31 years old, I'm sure I had dry skin before, and trust me, this was much more excessive than that :) I lost the whole bottom of my foot. Not good, not good!

I've lost a human head and a chihuahua -- the total goal is to lose an average 2 year old... maybe more.

My must haves are: Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar LOWER SUGAR oatmeal packets (120 cal per serving!) Special K Cereal and low fat milk (160 cal per serving) Sara Lee Honey Wheat (45 cal per slice) Laughing Cow Spreadable Cheese (35 calories for a whole wedge, I like to spread it on my sandwiches) Sara Lee Cinamon Raisin…

wow, I've lost 52 sticks of butter! Neat way to look at things!

i've learned that when I feel like fibbing on my food diary, the only person I am sabatoging is myself. Be accountable for EVERYTHING that crosses my lips - if I dont, in the end, it will only hurt me.

Down to 152.8 but I've hit a major plateau... blah. Lose lose lose the first few weeks and then I hit a brick wall. Vday is around the corner and the hubby isn't going to get anything in a lacy sexy package from me at this rate... :)

it helps to rid your body of toxins because the heat causes your heart to pump blood to the surface of your skin, causing sweating. Any weight loss is just water weight - I like to sit in them because it makes me relax, but sometimes it's pretty darn hard to breathe in there :)

I'd love to join in if it isnt too late! Started 01/01/2011 at 163.8 - weighed in on 1/14/2011 at 154.8 and I'd like to be 145 by Valentine's day -- we'll see how that goes!

Effexor caused me to gain major weight - and I wasn't eating! But everything I was eating was sticking to me. I learned that Most SSRIs have this effect. The only two I've heard have a lower chance of weight gain is buspar and lexapro. I was 120 when I started taking Effexor and 145 when I stopped a year later, and the…

I'm at 1200 and I literally don't feel hungry. I think it's because I never really ate before, BUT I drank about a 2ltr of pop a day total, and that's how I got my calories, I just drank them all (that and beer). Since I've stopped drinking the pop like that, I've had to force myself to eat. Everyone is different - but I…

Accounts Receivable for a waste company. Yep, I smell trash all day, even from my indoor cube and that smell still doesn't curb the cravings for food!
-
haha. Good. That's exactly what I'm worried about! That's why I refused to take Alli for weight loss help - no need to poop (or grease) my pants - but still thinking I need to have a "fresh start" haha. What an odd conversation :)

WHen I started two weeks ago I was 5'4 and 163.8. Today I'm still 5;4 (duh) but 153.6 pounds -so I'm close to your size. I'm allowed 1200 but I usually only hit 1200 once or twice a week, the rest of the week I fluctuate between 900 and 1050 or so - I try to eat a few more here and a few less there so my body doesn't get…

I log right before I eat - that way if I finish eating and I'm tempted to engorge in something yummy, I can easily tell myself "No Brandy, you've already spent what you had for lunch" -- then at night I final it, because I'm never sure if I may want a late night snack (which so far, I haven't) but its nice to not feel…

Used it - lost weight - gained it all back, the whole time i was on it I felt dizzy and sick, made everything awful. You burn like you're pregnant but eat like a bird - Missed two periods - hormones all jacked up - nasty stuff. I have friends who have done great things to their body sizes with it, but I'd never touch it…

I was skinny after both my kids (see my profile pics for a picture of me when both my kids were toddlers and I was remodling a kitchen - I was all bones!) Then the doc put me on some medicine and I remember gaining 8 pounds in two weeks - and eventually 15 or 20, but when I went off the meds, I continued to gain and gain…

We read it in a mens health magazine article - and I was pretty shocked about it - I guess I knew we were on the lower side for schools and lack of public parks but I never realized that we were on a low side of health! It seems like most of the people I meet are bone thin - but I guess I'm not seeing the bigger picture!…

I usually don't burn more than a couple hundred (many health issues) - but I tend to not eat them, I think it's something psychological that keeps me from it, because I just can't stand to eat them!
-
I'm loving all the suggestions - For some reason, I never thought of nuts as "good for me" but I'm thinking I should try to pick up some on my grocery shopping trip tomorrow - there are so many good ideas. Tonight I'm not even hungry and I have 610 calories left in my day - so I've only eaten half of my daily calories. I'm…

I think 1.5 in a week is great - you'll have some weeks when it will just fall right off and other weeks when it will sort of stagger a little, but the most important thing is to not give up on it, 1.5 pounds less this week than you were last week is still 1.5 pounds less, and that's progress!
