I like a sincere person. I do not trust married people who flirt. It has it's place in dating with single people. If a person flirts all over the place, it's like a bomb going off-- I wouldn't trust the person to stop doing it once married. It's just become a habit, not something intended to honor a "one and only" type…

Yeah, it's a tough concept to wrap your mind around. The more you have been exposed to someone's absence, the more casually you can discuss it. Everyone needs to be respected in the telling. She probably didn't realize you didn't know or she'd have used more tact. I do believe the Jesus died so that we don't have to...my…

I'd probably try calisthenics for that. Weight training doesn't have a known value, but you have to make sure to fuel it. The "In Place of a Roadmap" excel download sheets are ideal for someone with a workout mix like yours.

I have to eat and let food settle and go to the bathroom and go to the bathroom again and go back for water and stretch and them have decaf coffee and then go to the bathroom. THEN, my heart usually feels stable enough for a run. And it's 10AM or later. PSVT. Gotta love it.

You could always add weights to lunges and squats if you've grown too accustomed to them. Secondly, the Stronglifts program just about everyone can handle. I made some sandbags in a gym bag to do it, or use 10 pound dumb-bells, whichever I feel like. I usually do 12 rather than 5 but, that is just what feels right to me.…

I work out an extra stent in the evening if I run out of calories, or pace food so that I am assured an evening snack. Nothing wrong with them.

Yeah, I'd want to know measurements, too. With that much strength training, you may be putting on enough muscle to offset fat loss. Secondly, if I wanted to lose a lot of weight, I'd increase HIIT training over some other types of exercise. It's "High Interval Intensity Training". So, you'd run as fast as you can on the…

I do agree with calorie cycle. The way I achieve this is by following the "In Place of a Road Map" famous MFP article, doing the spreadsheets every other week or so to check TDEE, establish a daily eating goal based on my intended workouts, then instead of their recommendations, I deduct about 200 calories a day to enter…

I use a notebook mainly. I like just being able to write it down and not fool with technology in the middle of lifting. Just MFP. I use an app that counts for you when I do a ton of squats. I think it's called "Tap Count". Every time I go down, I tap it. Nike Training Club: AWESOMENESS. It has workouts on it. You choose…

I am so amazed. I still can't get beyond the 3 mile mark. My body just doesn't let me. I don't know how you do it!

I know that McDonalds sweet tea has like two cups of sugar per gallon, so at that pace, it would be very hard to get nutrionally what you need from other calories. On a 1200 calorie diet, I did not have ANY sugar calories left to play with and had to cut it completely from everything, even drinks, to make it. Secondly, if…

That does not seem like a low enough range to start messing with hormones which shift from day to day. But, I'm no medical professional. If it needed adjustment, I'm sure they would have suggested it in this case. Until we know your real eating and workout habits, no one can offer real help. If you want to point to a…

Gold star award ^. If you get them, please keep 'em covered for you and your man. You almost want to say, "Nice breasts!" just to get rid of the elephant in the room. People with implants often lose respect for their intimate nature. It's like "I paid for these puppies, let's show them off!" They are a body part intended…

1. HR Monitors and gym equipment tend to overestimate the true workout burn by 15%. You need to take that "gross number" and convert it to net before entering it to MFP. Or use an online converter like this one: http://www.shapesense.com/fitness-exercise/calculators/net-versus-gross-calorie-burn-conversion-calculator.aspx…

I found that running knee straps helped mine relax more than any other therapy or medicine I tried. men's sweatbands fit nicely on my legs, so I rotated them from upper to lower through the day...even sitting hurt. Now, I'm pain free a month later and back at 'em. A 5K where I pushed it too hard at the end flared mine…

Burning calories is burning calories. It doesn't matter when or how you burn them. In fact, studies have even shown that breaking up exercise into segments during the day is better for you than all in one chunk if you can do it that way because it revs your metabolism that many more times a day. What you can do is much…

Played my son and husband in tennis tonight and they kept telling me how much faster I am this season running down balls. : )

Also, a good tool on the app is to review your calories for the week and not just one day. If you've had several low days, you will still feel hungry even though you may be on track that day. Same if you are not eating back exercise calories. Make sure you are trying to hit the red goal line for the week, not just focusing…

Most green tea is caffeinated as well. Most people are not aware. On an empty stomach, caffeine makes me feel weird. You might try an antiacid. Acids build up in an empty stomach and can make you feel nauseated. Or the crackers would give it something to mild to digest so that the acid isn't eating at your stomach lining…

Actually, the TOU reads like this: "11. No Airing of Grievances With Moderators 11. No Airing of Grievances With Moderators"I believe it is useful for others on the forums to read this thread. He didn't call her out by name, didn't call her names, humbled himself, and seemed sincere in frustration. It's part of tool…

Depends on where you started. It was a healthy place for me at 5'3" and 129.5 lbs. Lost 15 pounds in four months. Took careful daily planning to space those calorie where I wasn't hungry, but it's what I needed to do until I started to build muscle, was able to exercise more through conditioning, and ate back those…

I found that the more I exercised and built lean muscle, the more good calories my body needed. Gotta feed that muscle so that the muscle can burn more calories for you and so that you look fit, not just bony. I've been both.

My story, too. I started with a goal of walking 15 minutes a day at Christmas...no excuses. I didn't even HAVE to sweat if I didn't want to re-shower. Just get it done. Now, I'm running 5k's four months later, lost 15.5 pounds. : ) I would recommend some days of cross training however. Runners are known for injuries, and…

Great info here. I use them as snack replacements as I'm trying to build muscle. I used low calorie snacks when I was just losing weight. Most people who are losing weight do not need the extra calories, unless they are lifting heavy weights to build muscle, which creates a whole new scenario. PS: I tried a ZONE bar Double…
