i use PB2 (its powedered peanut butter that they press out most of the fats also) it comes with "premium" chocolate lol but its low in actual sugars and put it on a salt free brownrice cake. takes the edge off for me. kinda has the consistency of frosting. its pretty good

i just sat down to snack on some and log it and i saw this post. haha plain with a little stevia and turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, sometimes some sugar free smuckers added. maybe some vanilla.... pretty versatile stuff really

be like ***** you need some ANTI OXIDANTS! lookin all wrinkly with your cheese fries haha just kidding a friend asked me once what to say to this girl that insulted him at a football game and he wanted something funny to say back to her but in a health food way. thats what i came up with...

if you can i highly advise you find a running partner. someone to be accountable too. helps alot. someone who is a better runner will get you up to speed faster than trying to muster it alone. but even someone who is just starting also will do. be prepared for bumps and bruises, but nothing in life thats worth while is…

dang dude! awesome job. thats no easy task man. again GREAT JOB!!!!

cramps happen. i had bad knees my whole life till i started running at 27. it was just cause they were not used in a manner that would keep them strong (like running) i have absolutely no knee problems, ankle problems, or lower back problems anymore because of the weight loss and strengthening of the muscles and joints.…

if its not the weight being too much and your sure your breathing correctly i would say it might be some sort of circulation problem. i would bring this up to your doc next time you go just to be safe

last time i had chicken wings then logged them, i freaked out haha went home and did a pretty big set to offset them a little bit. pretty crazy

burpee's, jump rope, jumping jacks, jump squats, believe it or not they will burn alot of fat off you if you do variations of them with minimal breaks in between and keep the heart rate elevated. these are great body weight exercises that you could start with, and easily do at home as well. or if you have a gym membership,…

thats inspirational. great job!!! and a perfect example of what someone, who DOES want it bad enough, can really do! you should be proud of your hard work.

i used to eat it all the time in my 20's. there was a span where i hadnt eaten fast food of any variety for almost 4 years, due to living arrangements and other life complications i was forced to eat out more than i'd like not too long ago again (had to stomache taco hell and subway again). but ive been back strong again…

this is so true. the further removed you get from all the junk the easier it is to not have heroine like cravings for it. they design that stuff to do that to you. they have been "enhancing" flavor with all sorts of taste bud and health killing stuff. once removed from all the bad fats, sodium's, cane sugars, and all the…

haha i was just joking about this the other day. i am 5-10", 185, 14% (and dropping) BF and i have a bmi of 26 LOL pre obese. its so generalized and not very accurate. at 5-10 i think i should probably weigh closer to 170-175 to be in the "good" range (according to their statistics) i wouldnt pay to much mind to the BMI…

http://scoobysworkshop.com/ this is a sight that has great home information on exercising. i do all my sets at home with minimal equipment and get better results than when i was at the gym. hes kinda funny at first, and always has his shirt off (bonus for girls i guess haha) but i guess if your are to be taken serious in…

i was not a runner either, and was like 70+ lbs overweight when i started. the thing is, theres going to be a transitional period where your body is trying to adapt to this new routine. so theres going to be a lot of bumps and bruises (so to speak) along the way at first. i had "shin splints" pretty bad at first because…

sometimes hitting rock bottom can be the best thing to happen. congrats on making the necessary changes! i also value having the knowledge of the other side (over weight, unhealthy lifestyle, depression, and overall unwellness) you deserve a big ol pat on the back. nothing is set in stone, this life is what we make of it.…

because those people are usually not honest with their intentions to begin with.... i have plenty of female friends and they are just friends. if people have friends of the opposite sex that they are not platonic with then they were just scamming the situation looking for a sex buddy or a weak moment to capitalize on in…

now that i read these posts (which i should have done first) it just seems like asking a question like you did will just spark a major debate and become a war of words and endless statistics. so debunk all you want lol it works for me and my routine. just depends on what your trying to accomplish. good luck too you

i bought a heart rate monitor (a non intrusive style chest strap that sends the signal to the wrist watch from amazon for like 50 bucks for their cheaper model but works great, polar brand) and it records my heart rate for the duration of the exercise which will calculate how many calories you burned. its better than the…

enjoy your cookie.... you earned it. one thing i became aware of lately is "net cals" and "gross cals" you should read up on this and make some little adjustments accordingly (if you are not already) it really is about your weekly deficits, not just daily. so if you calculate you burn 250 gross cals (just a ball park…
