Don't do it! Have lots of patience. Log your food accurately and honestly. Go for 80% good choices the other 20% don't worry so much about. I eat lots of delicious food and have consistently lost. Keep it simple find a REASONABLE deficit: Most people do not need to eat 1200 calories to lose. If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2…

If you already expect the taste to be subpar why would you even bother? And for your question they all taste horrible, if you want ice cream have a small portion of the real stuff. I've set one rule for myself during all of this don't eat anything I don't fully enjoy.

Well since I just had to put down my brownie to type can't say this is a problem for me. But I didn't drop it on the floor or anything so it's clean and delicious. In for Moderation :)

To lose weight it is all about being at a deficit. I can eat fast food every day for every meal and as long as I was still in a deficit I would lose weight. Now not saying it's the best way because I would be hungry. I eat veggies, fruit, pizza, mcdonalds, lean meats, ice cream etc. All about moderation. It all goes back…

Mine is pretty simple Meal #1 Meal #2 Anytime

Most of my carbs for dinner and after dinner in my ice cream has worked very well.
-
I eat white bread, wheat, rye depends on what I'm putting on it. Sorry PB&J goes on white or a potato roll for me, and unless the bagel is from NY give me the snickers any day.

If you don't like brown rice.. don't eat it. if you like white rice have that. It really is that easy :)

First off welcome and good luck! You can do this! I started at very similar stats as you.. I'm 5'7 and topped out well the number I admit to is 285, severe asthmatic averaged 4-6 hospital stays per year due to complications of asthma and heart issues. I got serious after my last stay in ICU came home and said enough is…

I started push ups against the wall, when I could do those, I dropped to the counter top, then to stairs, and continually kept moving the amount of incline downward, to now I can do regular push ups.
-
When I stopped being overly restrictive, set myself at a reasonable deficit, and found I could include all the foods I enjoy within my deficit, my cravings are few and far between. Portion control and moderation :)
-
Yes :) I make sure to include daily snacks usually ice cream into my day

1200 per meal I can do.. 1200 per day not so much Log your food accurately and honestly. Go for 80% good choices the other 20% don't worry so much about. I'll post some links these would be good things to read: Log your food accurately and honestly. Go for 80% good choices the other 20% don't worry so much about. There is no reason to be miserable. Yes go to your settings, diary settings and you can pick what you want to track. When I first started all I worried about was calories, once I figured that out, I started tracking protein, carbs, fat and fiber :)
-
Learn moderation, stop trying to cut things out totally. And careful what you read on the internet cause well most is BS. Log your food, practice moderation, and enjoy life.

Not necessary. I eat fruit, cookies, cake, ice cream whatever as long as it fits into my day and all my other nutritional needs are being met it's all good. Sugar is not the devil
-
You missed it, it was on page 1 lol I'll stick with my peanut butter chocolate ice cream
-
Sugar is Sugar, and unless you have a medical condition that you need to monitor your sugar intake, I would not bother tracking it at all, switch it out to track fiber or something else more useful :)
-
Come on over you can share the spare room with the dog! :)

Hmmm with this logic yesterday I went on a 32 mile bike ride, and my weight is up 2 lbs this morning... should I quit riding my bike? Or maybe understand that weight fluctuates and just move on. OP if you feel guilt over 138 calories you really need to reevaluate your relationship with food. Good luck

My mom is amazing :) Thanks!
-
You need to get one so I can steal all your recipes! They are really cheap at Walmart :)
-
My goals for this week.. do better than I did last week in my workouts while eating all the good foods
-
I move on. The past 2 days I've been way over my goals, no big deal when you look at the big picture what is 2 days over? Now if it's a daily occurrence then you should look at why you are going over. But, if not go for consistency over perfection.

Cauliflower and pizza don't belong anywhere near each other
-
The calories seem like a good starting place... Ice cream is a necessity at least in my daily day. Unless you have a medical condition there is no reason to cut things out, just start controlling portions.

Here's more pizza for you
-
It's scared me, please just eat real pizza!!!
