Karen the blueberry crumble looks delicious! Here's a few of the cupcakes I made this weekend, in total I made 9 dozen with 8 different flavors, but as you all know my photo taking skills are lacking but got a few that you can kind of see. The ones in this pic are: Cherry pistachio, cherry coke floats, bourbon maple bacon,…

Play with your meal timing. For myself if I eat breakfast I'm hungry all day long, so I prefer to eat 1-2 meals a day starting in early afternoon or just a big dinner. Find what works for you

You plan on spending the rest of your life eating Arctic zero, no peanut butter or delicious desserts ever again??? That's depressing
-
I will never eat cauliflower, liver, olives or gizzards because they are NASTY Also a few things I can't eat due to allergies. No other reason to swear off something for life, hopefully that's a long time to go :)

The best exercise is the one you will do. That answer is going to differ for each person. For myself I enjoy bike riding, weight lifting, walking or running. Find what you enjoy and what you'll stick too there's lots of options

Stop restricting them from your diet and if you want a cookie or other sweet make it fit into your day. I have a serious sweet tooth and in the past when I went on a diet I always thought I had to cut them out entirely and was overly restrictive on what I would eat which is why I always quit. This time realizing I didn't…

When did you start lifting? Was that a recent change? I would stick with what MFP is recommending but log everything and just work on cleaning it up. When I started losing I had a lot to lose and I didn't have to be as accurate but as I lost that margin of error decreased and I had to really clean up my logging. Also had…

Why don't you count salad or veg? Are you using dressing on your salads? What's in the salads? Those all have calories and you should be counting. Also you say you are weighing your food but you have entries in your diary like 2 cooked chicken breast with no weight? 1 potato - how big were these? Make sure you are…

Good luck to you! Make small changes in your diet, you don't have to make drastic changes to get good results and control your diabetes. My husband is a T2D, he made a few small changes switching from regular soda to diet, he now takes a 20 minute walk with me after dinner, eating at a small calorie deficit, and in 6…

Stay away from all the quick adds, there wasn't 1 day in the past week you didn't have at least 1. When logging food unless you made the recipe don't select Homemade entries, you have no idea what was used to create the recipe. For the hunger it looks like you get a lot of your daily calories from snacks. One day you had…

Have a plan if you eat out a lot, this is where pre logging your food helps because you can adjust to make sure you are staying within your calorie goals. Work out when you are going to do. For me that means around 3:30 in the morning, for someone else it might mean 9 at night. Find what works for you.

Stop waiting for tomorrow. Motivation will come and go. Make small changes and continue doing them until they become a routine. Decide for the rest of today you are going to log your food. Tomorrow you decide to do that again and for a week just make sure you do that every day. Trying to be as accurate and honest as…

I looked at the thread you started, no one was mean or rude. They just didn't tell you what you wanted to hear. You were complaining that 6 lbs in less than 4 weeks wasn't good enough because of age or whatever other reason. Mean people threads are on Fridays. I'm so sorry people took time out of their day to answer your…

Make a weekly plan on what you want to eat for the week, I do this while looking through sales flyers, write your grocery list. Go buy everything, come home and cut up veggies, cook what you want and portion into containers. Here's an example: This week I grilled 3 lbs of chicken breast, made a huge pot of ratatouille that…

You're going to give up because of 2 cupcakes??? So about 600-700 calories would make you quit? Stop trying to be perfect, set a realistic calorie goal, don't be overly restrictive. If you go over one day log it and move on tomorrow is a day to start fresh. I eat ice cream, cupcakes or some dessert every night and have…

They were all helpful when I started and you could actually get good information, but now they are only good for some mild amusement when I'm bored. If I want good information or have a question I go to my FL

You've posted ridiculous and irresponsible claims. I didn't post the question, but I will call out someone who is just using scare tactics to push their opinion especially when the opinion can be dangerous to someone reading. Try to post a real study next time. Thanks! Chemo sucks yes it does, but eating a plant based…

If you cared about helping others you would never suggest that clean healthy eating is a better cure for cancer than chemo. Or any of the other ridiculous claims you've made. How about you post real studies and not scare tactic websites to make up your claims.

Cupcake, mini cakes, or go out for a slice of cake or pie or whatever you truly enjoy, eat it enjoying every bite, and don't worry it's your Birthday. Here's a great website that does delicious desserts & other recipes but scaled down. http://www.dessertfortwo.com/recipe-index-2/cakes/ Enjoy yourself and remember you don't…

I said no to making ice cream today... only because it will taste better after the cherries soak in bourbon for a day or two... once they soak in all the goodness it will be delicious cherry bourbon ice cream and I will not say no
-
Yes every day and multiple cups per day, typically 8-20 cups per day. I drink it black so very few calories

We're going to a food truck festival so whatever sounds interesting

I don't eat anything I don't like. With so many different foods, ways to prepare them, you can easily find something you do like with the same or better nutritional value.
-
I said No to the telemarketer that called, said a few other things too but those aren't MFP appropriate.
-
Then why did you ask if it was safe??
-
How many calories did MFP say to eat? That's what you should be eating. You can even have beer and lose weight but first eat more than 900 calories!
-
28 year old male 6ft around 211 lbs, 900 calories is not enough
-
A male should be eating at least 1500 calories per day. How do you plan on fueling your workouts?? What did MFP give you as a calorie goal? I lost weight consistently eating 1400-1700 calories and I'm female and older than you.

Without seeing your diary can't give better suggestions but, check your logging for accuracy. Food scale will help with this, you can get one for under $20. Make sure you are logging everything, careful of generic and homemade entries. Have lots of patience and the flow chart above is really good.

Coffee, Bacon, Gelato, Wine & Bourbon after that usually chicken, veggies, and whatever else
