  • Started week 2 today. I already feel stronger during the workout than I did last week, although the plank combos are still killing me!

  • I use "circuit training". It might be slightly less, but I'd rather under report cals burned than over report.

  • Plyo cardio circuit done! Those Level 1 drills kill me every time!

  • What day are you on? I am restarting today with the Plyo cardio circuit (I did the fit test a few weeks ago and will use those results). I did 3.5 weeks of it before July 4, but then life got in the way :(. I could use some motivation to get through all two months this time!

  • I am between 25 and 30% and I don't look NEARLY as good as those two -- it's more about body type (I'm an apple, they're both hourglass). For men, I like 10-20%
  • I just started today! Fit Test was challenging but short -- I was definitely out of breath! I did Jillian's Ripped in 30 last month (then vacation for a week), so I feel like I have a good base, but it is still challenging.
  • Six days of Level 4 done! Anyone else??

  • Phew, level 4 is rough! I feel like I modify most of the cardio. I sub something else for the mogul plank move in the 3rd circuit. Brutal!

  • Yesterday was day 5 of L3 for me, and I finally felt like I was making progress. *Some* of the exercises felt easier(?), or maybe at least doable. Today will be my last day in L3 and tomorrow onto L4 -- I'm afraid!

  • The ab hold was hard on my wrists too, so I use larger hand weights on either side to hold -- they also allow me to lift a little higher to get my butt off the ground. There's an ab hold in level 3 too :(.

  • I've been doing RI30, just started level 3 today. When I finish level 4, I'm going to Cabo for a week, then I'll start Insanity when I get back. I wanted to start Insanity before, but I didn't want to take a break in the middle of the 60 days. I'm hoping I'm in decent enough shape from RI30, glad to know that someone said…
  • Level 3 Day 1 done! Phew! This one feels like way more cardio than 1 or 2. Nice to not be in plank the whole time but phew! Let's see, what kills me on this one? The duck walks, jumping lunges, rock and roll move, ab hold, and twisting plank. I could actually feel it in my inner thighs during the workout, hoping that…

  • Level 2, done! I fell off schedule over the weekend and just got to day 4 of level 2 today, but it's done. On to Level 3 tomorrow!

  • Day 3 done, halfway through Level 2! Thank goodness because I think Jillian is most annoying in this one -- I even turned off the sound and put music on today. Anyone else out there??

  • How was Body Revolution? Did you see some results?

  • Just finished day 2. One day I'll be able to get through that first cardio set without resting! She says if your core needs rest to drop to your knees, but it's my shoulders that can't do it! All the plank kills me! Does anyone wear a heart rate monitor while doing it? I wore one yesterday and it told me I only burned 80…

  • Last day of Level 1 done! Should have been yesterday but I was really sore from my half marathon Sunday so I took the day off. Tomorrow, Level 2 -- bring on the plank!

  • Thanks! Enjoy your weekend off!

  • Day 4 done! Feeling a little weak because I didn't sleep enough, so 3 lbs for some, 5 lbs for middle set and bicep lunges. Taking the weekend off because I'm running a half marathon on Sunday. One more day of level 1 on Monday then on to level 2!

  • Dear 16 year old me: You are smoking hot -- let the boys chase YOU! But maybe get your eyebrows waxed : / Your hormones are raging, enjoy it, safely, but stay away from Stuart, Jason, and Ty. You have a fabulous metabolism now, enjoy it, but know it doesn't last forever. When it starts to wane in your 20's, get a grip on…
  • Day 3 done! I had to revert back to 3 lb weights for some of it today; I think doing it last night and then this morning didn't give me enough time to recover. Oh well, done for the day and hopefully I'll be back up to 5 lbs tomorrow! And I'm still doing "real" push-ups!

  • Last night I went out to dinner with a friend, she ordered my favorite dessert and I didn't take a single bite! And today I finally motivated to do my workout (Ripped in 30) at 6:30 even though I really really didn't want to, and did real push-ups instead of on my knees.
  • I turn 40 this month, but it's been a challenge since about 36-37. I won't give up though!
  • Jill, jump right in! I'm posting daily according to what level I'm on. And yes, Jillian can be annoying but the workout is effective!
  • Day 2 done for me! Took me until 6:30 to find the motivation, but it's done! (My start date was May 1) I'm using 5 lb weights too. Today I ALMOST did all the push-ups military style -- missed only one! Wohoo!

  • For some reason, it won't let me edit, but obviously, this should be: Waist 30" Low waist 35" Hips 37" Thigh 23" Sorry, I hadn't had breakfast yet :)
  • Day 1 done! Not my first time doing Ripped (although this will be my first time going all the way through), so I upped it to 5 lb weights. That last set of strength is killer!
