I use the Polar FT7 and find it pretty good it is usually more than MFP but les than the cross trainer at the gym. I'm real happy with my HRM

My first one was earlier this year . Made lots of changes since turning 50 still too heavy to run so was hoping to finish it under an hour and I came in at 50min 50 secs I was thrilled aming to get my times down as the weight comes off

I never get off the cross trainer until I've done 500 that is my goal. As my weight drops off it takes longer but I love it

I had just the opposite about 20 years ago I had an over active thyroid and lost nearly all my muscle mass and the doctor told me I could have died from it.
