Ohhh Captain Jack. Yeah! I picked 11 for my ticker because he is reaching his hand out to bring River in the TARDIS. I am using it to visualize moving in that direction as he holds out his hand. If I could find one with 10 holding out his hand, that would be ideal. The Master doing the thumbs up...well that it just a "way…

I'm 42, not 'older' but I am over 30 and a grandma. I've also struggled my entire life!! (I was 180 lbs in the 6th grade.) I have yo-yo'd between 180 and 260 (back and forth) throughout my adult life. In 2009 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. It is causing my joints to fuse together…

I am part of the Faces of AS, and its sometimes discouraging to see how others with AS are able to run. I have been told just to go very slowly with any workout. It seems to me, the only time I'm not in pain is when I'm in the water. I have heard of underwater treadmills at some gyms. Has anyone ever tried one?

I have AS and am trying to do any kind of exercise. Its really hard when I'm in constant pain! I am finally off the steroids with the introduction of Remicade infusions into my regimen. I too would love to run, but I can hardly walk as it is.

Feel free to add me. I put on a bunch after being on steroids for my autoimmune disease. Congrats on being cancer free!

Anyone else here want to run with The Doctor? Hoping to get fit enough to, even if it's just running with my husband. :-)

Thanks for the info. Will check it out

I'm new here too. Feel free to add me. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. Yo-yo, fad diets, WW, and so on. I now have the help of a 'nutritionist' but it still helps to have friends who struggle with their weight too. Support is a must for any life change.
